“Oh, yeah, no you’re totally going to need stitches for that.” Evelyn spoke, her fingers lightly tracing over the cut. “How did you even get this deep of a cut?”

“I might have tried to hop a fence and I feel on prickly bushes.... I’ll superglue it like they do in movies.”

“Yes!” Olivia quietly said, letting out a breath of relief. “Thank God I bumped into the right person in the end. But seriously, we need to make sure there are no traces that would lead to us. They gotta have to clean this all up for themselves without having any idea who could’ve been behind it for real.”

“Should we leave a note and have it signed a name so people will think it’s someone else? I mean who’s crazy enough to make a mess and leave a not signing someone else’s name? The perfect crime.”

“Are you one of those pumpkin spice latte fanatics?” Michael teased her, chuckling softly.

“Umm don’t hate the pumpkin spice. That shit is good, dude. Anything stupid and gimmicky, I’m all over it.” She smiles at him, then sticks her hand out- “My name’s Violet. I just moved here.” 

“Okay….from one to ten, how much screwed you think we are right now?” Olivia asked as she looked from the person to the mess they had just made. “I won’t tell if you won’t?”

“Oh, you’re good. I’ll never tell. I like messes. It’s fun. Especially to see how others will clean it up.”

“Well, usually people get something like a latte and a scone,” Michael shrugged. “Depends what you’re into. Not much of a coffee drinker then?”

“Not straight, no. It needs a lot of sugar for me to like it. What do you get? Might get a scone and tea....”

“Listen,” she said as she sat down with her funnel cake. “It’s been a rough few weeks and this is delicious. So no judgement.” She tucked a napkin into her t-shirt and shook her finger. “No judgement. I want to eat this, not wear the powdered sugar.” 

“There is no judgement here. Powdered sugar is like glitter. It gets everywhere. That looks really good too, so why not treat yourself.”

“Uhh… coffee?” Michael nodded, gesturing towards the line that was forming.

“Oh. Thanks.” Violet grinned at him, “But, I actually don’t really know what to get. Do I go with tea? latte? Frapuccino? Do I get a muffin with it? You can go ahead of me.”

“I know a lot because I’ve been around the block. Just trust me. You speak Spanish? You can test me.” Carter rubbed his hands together ready for anything now and laughed at her reaction. “I knew it was too good to be true that you were having awesome sex. No one has awesome sex. No, I was just trying to break the ice. I learned that in college believe it or not.”

“I actually don’t. I can understand it though. Trying to break the ice? That’s a weird question.I want to call dibs on Amanda Seyfried’s dad... or at least one of them.”

Michael tapped his pen on his ticket pad. These sixteen year old drivers were just something else. “Okay, I’m letting you off with a warning,” he told the girl, waving her off before putting the meter back on his vest. Turning, he headed towards the coffee shop he had parked in front of. Coffee was much needed in this situation. Walking in, he didn’t realize he had walked into someone in line. “Sorry,” Mike put his hands up in apology. “After you,”

Violet turned around at the person who walked into her, startled by the sudden tap and pulled out of her daydream, “What?”

“Vintage and Retro nostalgia are just on everyone’s minds. I heard there’s a sex orgy warehouse in the Southside where they do relive their teen years. “R” rolling is easy. I took Spanish all four years in high school and I was pretty much a Spanish whiz.” Carter applauded her. “Damn you pick the right guys then if you don’t have to fake it for them to make it.”

“Ew, how do you know that? Have you been there? That’s freaky. I don’t doubt it though. A spanish wiz? Interesting. Woah Woah Woah, I never said that. I thought I needed some sort of o face for this production going on.”

“I unfortunately couldn’t get it passed by the town’s board. They don’t understand how rap can make founding father history entertaining. I tried, I really did because I would be the shoe in for the role of the British King. I have the rosy cheeks for it. Mamma Mia is cool, it’s sleazy but cool sleazy. That’s good range I’ll make that note. Can you fake an orgasm? Cause I need good facial expressions in my cast.”
