Hi, Do you know where I can store my wine bottles? I don't have enough cash now to buy myself my own chiller. Is there a store that allows for me to rent on a per bottle basis? Right now, I only have small collection - 12 bottles. I'm also interested to know whether you think that there is a place in the Manila market for this kind of storage business, catering to just small space requirements? (I want my bottles separated into chillers w different temps for red and whites.)

Hi, right now, I don’t know of such service and if they allow less than 12 bottles storage. What I can suggest is find a group of people and share storage space. Premium Wine Exchange in Pasong Tamo Ext provides storage solutions for wines for this. I would suggest just buying a small chiller. I personally just use a Haier at home which I bought at Abenson/Avant. If you have more, you can graduate to a Eurocave or Vintech.

For this kind of small storage business, it might be difficult as most people just store their wines at home in a small chiller or share storage space with their friends. You can try though.

Where can I buy an Enomatic wine dispenser machine in the Philippines?

I’m not sure for Individuals but you can try and contact Emperador Distillers Inc. They were offering me machines before!

Vienna, Austria

After Germany, I made my way to Austria to visit two sisters, one in was in Vienna, the other in Innsbruck. I’ve known these girls since forever and I thank them for being such great hosts for the second time in a row!

I hit Vienna first as I had never been there. I managed to find the correct train and arrived in Vienna with perfect weather.

Have you tried food pairing Filipino dishes with wines? :)

I have tried pairing wine with Filipino dishes and I can say I'm not very skilled at it. Haha. The vinegar in the dishes always throw me off. I brought wine to Claude Tayag 's restaurant in Pampanga and the only wine that worked was the Moscato with the dessert. I brought a chianti and it failed with the lechon dishes.
