To be honest it didn't really rise as a thing for me until I watched Dirge of Cerberus and learned more about Vincent.

There's only one conversation between the two of them in Rebirth and one crumb moment during her song. The absence of content gave me cravings. So I started head-cannoning them interacting. Thinking about how they'd interact turned into writing about how they'd interact and because their relationship is like an empty slate to dabble upon I just kept going and going and enjoying the idea of them romantically together. It's such a rare pair that I could really enjoy exploring it in my own little bubble and sharing the results with others out there who liked them together before me.
