trundling on

Jaybrix Shaymen Half elf Ranger with a will’o’wisp familiar.. who is the spirit of his dead brother. Cults, Queen of Monsters, fleeing from family.. a dramatic backstory. This was a quick sketchy request for fun I did, again trying out new things. I like colouring of line art, but will need to figure out how to use it more efficiently.

Althaea, a Drow Echo Knight. A pic I did just for fun, and a little practice. Trying to be more organised with layers and selections and what not. Whereas I usually just paint on the one layer.  Definitely less time sorting out edges and it was easy to change colours quickly, but also line art. Dunno if it was actually faster for me in the long run though, just yet. Still, I like the pose and her outfit, which I had references for, was fun to draw.

Teon I have a hard time posting anything. I often sorta figure what’s the point, or it’s not good enough, it’s boring, there’s a lot of reasons and insecurities as to why I don’t. Then I feel shitty for not ever posting things, or accomplishing anything. It’s a very self fulfilling prophecy of struggle, hahah Thought I would try to post more things, regardless of their level of finish... I like sketches from other artists, just as much as finished ones, sometimes more. So just gonna have to post. I figured I’d start properly with MerMay2021, and with Teon. A young man that isn’t a real Mermaid, but has mermaid tendencies.
