Hot Garbage

Randomly violently ill at like 4:30am [both ends at same time 😭]

Fucking torture of throwing up all day, barely ate anything the day before, so was just water and stomach acid, fever 103.6, 2 cold baths didnt really help much, fucked up my back from being sick so much, constant pain couldn’t keep any water down either. Was an absolute nightmare. [having to be on the toilet every time I was retching water cause the strain would squeeze out any small amount of piss, and like a tbsp of molten shiss 😭 lost any dignity I had, bless my mother 😭]

Went to urgent care, appointment at 6:30, waited an hour or so, in and out of the bathroom but there’s nothing in me, tested me for flu/covid, wasn’t either, doctor was worried might be worse and threw out sepsis as an urgent possibility that needed to be ruled out, said go to ER, left urgent care around 8pm

so fucking thirsty all day 😭 felt like I was dying in pain

Got driven to ER, wait in waiting room for hours [absolute hell], finally got seen, the doctor said she knew what was wrong, sent in another nurse and he got me all hooked up real quick to IV, took blood, then gave IV bag of fluids and some anti nausea in there too first, started feeling my back slightly relax finally, was hooked up to all sorts of monitoring stuff while my body slurped up all the hydration juice in that bag, after that was done was finally gave the okay to try to sip water, didnt throw it up finally, gave me some potassium pills to help balance out how dehydrated I was, blood tests came back fine too, confirmed how dehydrated was tho lol sent me off with a prescription for more of the anti nausea stuff

Left the hospital just past midnight feeling quite a bit better, went back home and crashed hard. Slept through most of Tuesday, had some pieces of cantaloupe and some saltines, some sprite, more water throughout the day, went back to bed

Today I slept more, feel basically back to normal, which is wild. I had more fruit, more ice, managed some soup and some bread too, finally some regular ass solid food

Now it’s Thursday 4am

That was the most fucking harrowing day I’ve ever had in ages 😭

Only went 3 places on my Seattle trip, goodwill, Joann, and winco, so I must’ve picked it up at one of those places 😭 I mask up in public, so I must’ve missed a time washing my hands after an outing or something, there were some sneezing people in the Joann? Idk dawg

But damn y’all, be fucking diligent in making sure to wash your hands more often than you need to, you don’t want this hell that was Monday.
