Smashed

I fell in love with Metronomy quite late, after they released their 4th studio album Love Letters, which described my mind setting of that time a lot. 

Last year's record Summer 08 is a neverending party tracks collection. 

I'm not the most dedicated fan of The 1975 (but had one in our gang at the gig) but I made it to their concert in Vienna last week. 

Ok, we've already had Zrní here on this blog but there are two reasons I need to post this pic. 

The band confirmed 15 years of playing together makes a difference. Not that I remember their first gigs but their show doesn't lack a thing. And this was the first time I saw them playing in a club, which was even more extraordinary. 

 A few months old but one of the best gifts I ever got! I always wanted to be on a cover of TLSP album, well, I wanted my legs to get there! And here they are, they made it! I got this cover from a friend and a colleague of mine, so TLSP are free to release a new album, the cover art is ready. :)

Two weeks seem like a long time but We Are Scientists are worth a piece here. 

I decided to go last minute and I bet there were bigger crowds the band has played for but it was still an awesome night!

Two weeks ago, the biggest Slovak festival Pohoda took place at an airport in Trenčín. For the 20th time (Happy birhday, Phoda!). 

Of all the shows I've seen six concerts and James Blakes was one of the best ones. This is a footage of the press conference that took place before the gig where James proved he's not only a talented musician but a very nice and an intelligent person. 

The top picture (and I mean the one on top, not that this is my best one) are The Vaccines. Yes, you could go and see their show because of: 

1. their music

but also cause 

2. a red rectangle stage 

We heard a little Sleaford Mods, a little Sex Pistols, a little Saladfinger and a plenty of Public Image Ltd. First thing John said to the audience was (during the third song or so) to a person shooting the show on his / her tablet. John went "Put that fucking thing down!" As he promised, we got entertained, we got all the important hits beginning with Double Trouble, continuing with Rise and Bodies.
