TEN YEARS OF HONNE | DAY 3 | AUGUST 2026
i can't believe i've been listening to them for ten years now. I'm not a super fan; i never memorized their lyrics, never bought merch, and was only introduced to me by a dear college friend. but after hearing their song, Me & You ft. Tom Misch (which is the artist that i was following before them), i am hooked. i remember falling in love with electronic-soul pop during 2018, and from then on, Honne has been in my rotating artists that i listen to whenever i study.
i stopped listening to music (i remember having 600 songs only played during 2019-2021) for a moment, kasi i was struggling mentally and everything felt overstimulating. but when i started my health recovery was when i also rediscovered them. No Song Without You was one of my album lifelines. i never learned their lyrics even now, but the feelings i felt from that first song i heard from them were intensified by their succeeding discographies. and to be able to witness their ten years of loving and performing music is such a privilege. it's like watching Odysseus finally come home HAHAHA emeee!
PH was their last Asian tour stop, and after that i think they're done with their tour. so being the last batch to hear them was special. their fanbase here is so huge and dear to them, and i get why. to be surrounded be loving people despite some being in a recent brokenhearted situation and people who are grounding themselves again-- i feel special to be in a concert hall with them, sharing one lifeline in one night.
