Oh boy anon... where to start?!

Let me try to draw a timeline...

1. The company decided to cut Eldarya in two seasons, move Lance's introduction as LI to season 2, remove other LIs and give the game to another creator since around episode 22 of TO. Since then Chino has stopped working on Eldarya and, this is my personal opinion, the person who took over had no interest in romance because since then the only romantic interactions we've had in Eldarya have been a few random sex scenes. No deep dialogues, no dates, no cuddling, not even kissing except maybe one or two exceptions and this has continued all the way through season 2.

2. In March 2021 the company hosting Beemoov's servers in Europe caught fire. Beemoov's servers were destroyed, fortunately most backups were in another building so all their games and accounts were saved except for... you guess it, Eldarya. All European language accounts were lost and the american and brazillian servers were the only ones who got spared. We all lost our accounts and the company had to come up with a way to bring people back to the game. They created a new free currency for TO and opened a shop for a few months. This led to the first season becoming completely unprofitable, plus lots of people never came back since then. Mostly old players who used to spend money on their collections.

3. New games started to be developped, Uncoven and Henri's Secret season 2. The "new" Eldarya creator went off to write Uncoven at the same time as still being theoretically in charge of Eldarya. The company started to recycle events mechanics both in MCL and Eldarya so everyone has been unhappy with events in both games because they are extremely repetitive since basically two years.

4. ANE's writing has gone more and more downhill. It'd started decently but because the writer was new and had no idea what happened in TO nor what were Chino's characters backhrounds and history, the story is full of plot holes, contraddicting things all the time and all the characters' personalities have changed. It reads like a different game.

5. Lots of people have left, very few are playing the game at this point, and even less are spending money on it, so it's very very obvious that the company is just letting it die, the game is often bugged and the art quality is a hit or miss. Only 2 episodes are left at this point. Fans who still cling to it are angry. Fans who abandoned are sad. No one wants to play ANE anymore but lots of people wish there was a revamp of the game once ANE ends, with good writing and art. However, because the game isn't making money right now the company won't invest in something that is not profitable.

This is it I think 🤔

Yes the ending is planned, Chino gave me the beginning and the ending (which had to be slightly adapted because it's not a game format with choices unfortunately, so I can't include multiple endings). I developed the journey in between but we discussed everything together, I want every single plot point to be approved by her. If there is something she doesn't agree with or she feels should be different I change it.

I'll give you an example: Chino said that Lance should be controlled by the Guard, and go on missions for them to get some rewards. I expanded on that, thought he could be controlled by a magical object like a collar. She said that she pictured something more "fantasy" like a stone fused in his chest, so I asked her to draw me where it should be, and tell me the colour and the shape. And this is what is included in the story.

This is our process, I have written detailed summaries of every chapter and she is reading and commenting on them, so the story is pretty much all defined and agreed with her. I also constantly bother her for details that aren't in the summary, for example I wanted Lance to give Erika a nickname, so I asked Chino what it should be. I needed the name of the Island where Lance and Valkyon were born, so she came up with it. This latest episode I needed to pick a food that Lance would like (like, we know that Ezarel likes honey, Nevra likes bloody meat etc) so I asked her to decide what it should be (and it was exactly what I had in mind! eheh). I want all information to be canon, I don't care if they aren't in ANE, if they come from her they are canon to me.

And there are also some revelations about some of the characters coming (like Ezarel's situation addressed in chapter 1). These are all part of her original backgrounds for them and never made it into the game because, as I said, the company gave the game to someone else from around episode 22, so lots of questions have been left unanswered. What was Leiftan and Lance's original plan? How did the Blue Sacrifice actually came down? This kind of things.

And they aren’t exactly full drawings. I sometimes look for pose bases I like and ask Chino to draw on top of them. I don't know who the original authors of the bases are otherwise I would tag/link them, but these are the two I've used so far x and x.

Wasnt doing anything for christmas, so i wandered around on Eldarya’s forums and found out about the topic “draw the player before you” And so, i gave it a shot xD I appreciated drawing a character from my new game, i see players who make really nice mixes with the clothes and such, its really a pleasure >w<

When I saw Daemon’s pic with short hair I just thought I had to because it’s so fitting ???

Some context: I got married a few months ago and Chino, who was one of my bridesmaids, asked me what I wanted as a present. The evil genius in me thought that this was the perfect chance to ask for whatever I wanted and she wouldn't be able to refuse me 😈😈 (in the limit of what was in her power of course, like I would've gladly locked her in a room and forced her to make the Eldarya game of my dreams, but alas it's not only up to her).

So I asked her to write something for me 🥰 the scene of the first kiss with Ashkore, as it should've been if he hadn't been removed from TO crushes. And it's the most beautiful thing in the world 🥺💕🥺💕 best wedding gift ever 💕🔥

So I'm sharing it to make all Lance stans a little happy too, here you go, full credits to @chinomiko

Out of the blue, I dont really have any new dragon lore or Lance/valk infos.

However, I would suggest you to read @tetrakys’ « canonfiction » (does that word exist? 😂) The Dragons call, she wrote some time ago.

We have been talking a lot, and she ended up writing a fanfiction according to what I would do as a Lance/Valk AL.

She, of course, did 95% of the work but she made sure to follow my story guideline and to check every lore or characters details with me, that’s why I said « canonfiction » xD

Heya ! I am fine thank you I guess the easiest for me to tell about Leiftan is his all backstory who was actually and unfortunately never correctly exploited and explained in game. Leiftan was a toddler during the time of the Blue Sacrifice. The aengels didn’t want to sacrifice as planned, and for this reason they ended up being persecuted by the other faes. Leiftan’s parents were killed, but before they died they put him in a stasis spell to hide and protect him.

An aengel survivor, Verom, ended up finding him. (Mowgli style XD ) Verom was weak after the persecution and he decided to establish himself at the Fountain of Youth in company of the Naiade nymphe who guarded the fountain. (She is linked to her fountain as hamadryades are with their tree.) She was a good soul and offered her help. They cared for Leiftan, still in stasis at this point.

After some centuries, Leiftan’s soulmate was born and Leiftan not destined to be alone anymore, the freezing spell broke. Toddler Leiftan slowly awoke and started living again.

So he grew up with his adoptive parents. As soon as he could, Verom trained Leiftan into using aengel powers, and taught him about the Blue Sacrifice etc.

When he was still very young, a group of exploring humans found the fountain’s place by pure luck. They ended up trying to steal its water but in the fight they killed the Naiade. The fountain dried immediately and she turned to stone. There was just a little bit of water left, she could rejuvenate with a lot of time and patience, and hope.

And then we arrive when Leiftan was a young teen, some humans found the fountain again, but this time they knew what they were looking for. And these humans happened to be... leaded by Erika's father. He was looking for that youth fountain discovered years ago, Erika was sick and dying from some unknown disease (certainly related to her Fae genes), and that was the only way he knew that could save her. He wanted the remaining water. They fought for it, of course. Charles kills Verom (he is an old man by now) and by taking the last drops of the fountain he also kills the Naiade.

With that bit of magical water with him, he and the soldiers left as he came. Thinking everyone dead.

But Leiftan was not, and he is left as a young daemon, partially trained and able to hide his nature. Full of anger and hate. Hate for both faeries and humans and this is his villain origin story.

(And so, Charles is the person who killed his parents, but also the one who saved his soulmate in doing so. How so tragic hehe.) ———————

Another thing is the potion they make Erika drink later in the story so they would forget about her on Earth.

It was Leiftan’s idea all along, he suggested it to Miiko. With this solution, he was sure Erika would have to stay by their side and he would do anything to keep her close to him. He then acted innocent around her.

I’m not sure what has been shown or changed in game at this point so…I don’t know if this was tackled in the story, or if it’s become irrelevant.

But here we go, for vampires in Eldarya, blood will taste different depending of the feelings of the person being bitten at that moment. And usually vampires have a preferred taste/feeling for blood.

For Nevra, he prefers the blood of persons feeling love and pleasure. This partially explains his womanizer attitude :) (which does not mean he had feelings for whoever was bitten, don’t get it mixed up !)

Nevra used to tell a different story everytime someone would ask him how he lost his eye. Just for fun and to mess around , and also because his ego was a bit hurt it didnt happen during some epic battle. But I'm pretty sure this was (at leas slightly) mentionned in the story.
