La Vida...

Think of the younger version of yourself. Not the stupid twenty-something, go way back to your childhood days. Innocence, curiosity, courage, creativity, the most colorful time in a person’s life and as time flew by your eyes so did the colour in them. 

Just the memory of those times, make you realize how liquid time can be, how harsh it can be to those who don’t appreciate it, and what are the things that really matter. This is the reason I remind myself “today is the only moment you have, breathe it, make it the best you can, and most important of all, enjoy it.”

The happiest days of my life were probably the simplest ones. The days I would go to the rooftop of the house I grew up in my hometown Corozal, Puerto Rico, to see the stars with my dad, mom and brother. We would talk for hours then just lay back and stare at the stars, dreaming with our eyes open. 

Sometimes, I feel time is running away from me and when I think about it I feel fear. Like if time was bleeding from my veins and I can’t contain it. Sometimes, we tend to forget that time has a limit and that in the end, when we become stardust once more, it will bee too late to live as you were plan(ning) to or as you whish(ed). So my advise to you today is: open your eyes, find what you love and do it (with passion), go wherever you want because in the end you’ll always come back to those who are really meant for you, live YOUR life, go to coffee shops, travel, eat well, listen to people and music, follow your own path because there is no perfect way, and do the things that scare you because if you’re afraid it’s only because it really matters.
