“Da,” Vic called out, louder than she needed too with a mischievous grin, a shit eating smile that said trouble on her face. After the lockdown and the St. Mungo’s visit that Vic had had at New Years, she had spent a bit more time with family -- but it didn’t mean she gave them an easier time. “D’you think sending Dom and Lou fuzzy handcuffs at school would help them ... just in case? Y’know, one time those things REALLY locked me up and I dunno what the MA’s doing at school but they might need them to apprehend someone. Imagine a Death Eater in fuzzy pink handcuffs.”

At this point, they were sure Vic was fine but she’d been in St. Mungos a few too many times in the past decade or so that they were keeping her here until a family member picked her up -- lest she got into a fight in the hospital as well. Looking up, Albus was already there -- hadn’t she texted him a minute ago? Had she done such brain damage that now even time was wonky?

“Wow, I haven’t seen you since,” wait for it, “LAST YEAR.”
