Summary:

For a while now, Yuuri’s had this fantasy… until he decides to take matters into his own hands, and sets everything up to give Victor a sweet surprise.

When Victor comes home, he’s in for an experience surpassing his wildest dreams, and ends up challenged by Yuuri’s stamina yet again.

What artists of all kinds tend to have in common is that they’re naïve; they’re desperate– running after the beauty they see in the world, trying to capture the uncontainable in tangible, but sorely inadequate mediums. Sometimes they succeed.

University is a torrid enough affair for both Viktor and Yuuri without the loss each of them carry. Nevertheless, between the lingering scent of paint thinner and all the charcoal stained newsprint, they find that there’s always a good in the bad, even if it takes a while to get there.

Summary: The summer after the Grand Prix Final, after they've settled in Russia to start training together for the next season, they decided to stay in the onsen until their wedding day, which would be celebrated at the end of the summer, and opted to spend the holidays there, surrounded by their family and close friends. And vacation meant: visiting and getting to know the places they haven't seen when they were training the previous year. Yuuri took him to all kinds of places and taught him about their history, expertly explaining every single detail he knew from all the books he'd read in school when he was younger.

The only problem was, Viktor wasn't completely focused when they got home every night...

It was a wet spring afternoon when Yuuri got the call. “Yuuri! Meet me on Main Street tomorrow afternoon! It’s big big big! You can’t miss it!” With that final confusing sentence, Viktor had hung up, leaving Yuuri wondering if Viktor Nikiforov, his life-long crush, acquaintance and fellow high-schooler had just asked him on a date.

Arriving at the library on Main Street just after 1 pm, Yuuri wondered if he had hallucinated the entire thing. The day was hot and dry, a stark contrast to the mugginess of the day before, and Viktor was nowhere to be seen, neither at the library or down the quaint tourist street. He walked down the pavement, wondering if perhaps Viktor was lying in wait somewhere, like a pit viper or a fleeting mirage. Finally resigning himself to the fact that he had dreamed the call up in his post-exam haze, he leant against one of the giant flowerpots filled with multicoloured pansies that lined the street and contemplated his options.
