glory fades

its sorta like.. life stays the same throughout the years... documenting it online only got more normalized.. ive always been cringey.. in 10 years i will think this post is cringey.. but oh well.. what can we do but live... but find ways to make life good and interesting... to feel meaningful and purposeful... i dont know whatever tumblr on the computer is so much harder to use than the app now but feels so nostalgic. im so glad im not 17 anymore

idk i dont really have a deep connection to david lynch and in fact have always been mildly annoyed at the fanbase he accrued they were borderline as bad as nolan fans to me. i hate it when people say you wouldnt get his work i hate it when people call any random film that is kinda weird "lynchian". but i really like all his little weird quotes and his worldview. i havent liked any david lynch film ive ever seen but im willing to give him another chance. idk i dont think he would be into the idolisation of his character either
