This podcast is a literal eargasm. I’m listening to it right now, in my activewear, sitting on the floor of a yoga studio leaning against the window of a city skyscraper looking down on the Cartier store below me.

This podcast is a must listen for aspiring trophy wives. I remember reading a BBC article shared on tumblr about how the wealthy/elite were using more subtle signifiers of their status [ie, their sustained attainment of stable wealth] such as organic groceries and private tutors, etc. This podcast elaborates on those notions in the most incredibly intellectual, and educational way. The reason it’s so important for aspiring kept women to listen to this is because it teaches the wisdom of authentically assimilating into wealth; rather than chasing ostentatious and flagrant displays of money (cough cough, Gucci t-shirts), the subtleties of expenditure directed towards the premium service economy (chauffeured vehicles and private piano tutors for your children) indicates that you can sustain a complete lifestyle of comfort, and subsequently elevated status.

Even if you have absolutely zero interest in the aforementioned; the podcast delves into really fascinating analyses on social mobility, cultural capital, and how class divides have historically cultivated in societies, as well as how they are actually divorced from economics a lot of the time.

I’m just starting to get back in my mojo. The enormous overhaul of my entire life in the past one month has left me hazy with difficulty to concentrate, but I’ll be back on my [trophy wife] grind soon, lol.

Do you need to make your bills?

How many appointments do you need to make double your bills?

How many appointments do you need to make triple your bills?

How many appointments do you need to make quadruple your bills?

Let’s have an example:

Sally has expenses including her food/gas/bills/rent every month that total $3,500.00

For a lot of people that is a lot of money. For sex workers that is a lot of money, but for some sex workers that is what we can make in a week and some of us can make that in a day.

So let’s say that Sally charges $300 per hour. We aren’t going to go into multi-hour theories right now, just hours. So Sally needs 11.6 (Let’s round up to 12) one hour appointments to make her bills every month. So if Sally has weekends off she needs to see 3 clients a week to pay her bills. 

But let’s go monthly. 

One Month Bills = 12 clients (3 per week) $3,600 

Double her Bills = 24 Clients (6 per week) $7,200

Triple Her Bills = 36 Clients (9 per week) $10,800

Quadruple her bills = 48 Clients (12 per week) $14,400

So what should Sally do?

Sally needs to diversify and raise her rates (according to me) but how do you make that work? 

You create a business model that forces men who want to see you to pay a higher amount because they perceive it as a better value. 

So let’s say that Sally charges $300 for an hour but only $400 for 90 minutes and $500 for 2 hours. Most men would opt for the 90 minute or 2 hour appointment because it seems like the best value.

Now that Sally has changed her rate structure to include a more incentive driven pricing tier she will probably gain higher end clients who want to spend a little more money because they see it as being a good value.

And who doesn’t like a good value?

So now Sally needs to see 7 men a MONTH to reach her goal to pay her bills.

SEVEN as opposed to TWELVE

Sure, the appointment may be a bit longer, but realistically - she’s not doing THAT much more work in a 2 hour date that she’d do in a 1 hour date and she’s decreased her foot traffic by 5 clients.

One Month Bills = 7 clients (about 2 per week) decreased by 5 - $3,500 

Double her Bills = 14 Clients (about 4 per week) decreased by 10 - $7,000

Triple Her Bills = 21 Clients (between 5-6 per week) decreased by 15 - $10,500

Quadruple her bills = 28 Clients (7 per week) decreased by 20 - $14,000

So ladies, while you may want to START high in reality what you need to be thinking about is at what price point are men really booking you? 

I wrote a piece a while back called Overpricing Yourself In A Saturated Market that discusses your rate structure and how to properly structure your rates. With this in mind consider the above. While many women want to go all out and start out at $500 & above the truth is that what you need to be concerned about is at what price point are men comfortable booking you? 

I have the luxury of having a pretty solid client base. Most of my dates are dinner dates and overnight dates with well established clients. I do have the occasional date that is one hour or even two but for the most part over half of my dates consist of those that net me $750 or above. 

Your rates should not be an emotional decision. You should price yourself based on what the economic situation can bear in your home city and what you have figured, mathematically, that you need to earn to reach your goals.

If your goal is to make the $2000 you need for your bills and that is it… then do not price yourself out of what your current market can bear. Do not look at taking lower amounts of cash per appointment as an indicator of your self worth because it is not.

Again - who you are as a person is priceless - what you sell your time for has a price tag. You are not the number you put on the screen. You are not the rate that someone pays for your time. 

Now, why is it important to set a weekly goal for the clients that you need to see to meet your financial goals? 

Because you do not want to get burned out in this industry. Even making $14,000 a month and seeing 7 clients a week for $500 per appointment Sally can hit her mark early in the week and if needed - take some time off - because she has already hit her mark for making her monthly bills. 

The rest of the month should be Sally working to stack her cash, improve herself, take care of her family, go to school, travel & recharge.

If you do not have weekly goals you are limiting yourself. 

To be a successful escort you MUST give yourself time to recharge. It is as important as having condoms and lube. Do not think that “I won’t get burned out.” 

Because you will.

I do hope this encourages some of you to start setting goals and to seriously sit down and evaluate where your money is going and what you are doing with it. If you do not have a budget I sincerely suggest you make one.

Step 1: Prime your man!

EX: Hey babe, can I ask you for a favor?

Step 2: Celebrate him!

List a few things he’s did well.

You’ve been a fresh breath of air to me AND

Step 3: Add an “AND” (DO NOT SAY “BUT”)

You can start it off with “I would really love it if” or “I’d highly appreciate it if”

AFTER IF, ask for what the fuck you want.

Ex: Hey babe can I ask you for a favor? You’ve been a fresh breath of air to me and I loved our first date. It’s been a huge improvement from the other dates I been on. I would would really appreciate it if you could pay for my hair appointment on Thursday because

Step 4: Add the “because”

Because I’m already paying for my girls trip to Vegas and I don’t want to show up looking a mess.

Because I used all my money to catch up on bills and I’d really like to indulge in some self care.

Because it would mean a lot to me.

Step 5: Ask, “would you be willing to do that for me, please?”

It’s an invitation for him to give you an answer now instead of side tracking the conversation because now this is a yes or no question.

Full example:

Hey babe can I ask you for a favor? You’ve been a fresh breath of air to me and I loved our first date. It’s been a huge improvement from the other dates I been on. I would would really appreciate it if you could pay for my hair appointment on Thursday because I used all my money to catch up on bills and I’d really like to indulge in some self care. Hi lovelies! So lately I’ve been noticing a trend in my interactions with SD Sawyer. We have also leveled up and are now exclusive - hence me being a SGF - but I had been noticing a subtle shift in your dynamic regardless. 1. Let Him Watch You Get Ready

Putting on makeup is a graceful art. Let’s be real, you’re sometimes hypnotized by your own face during the process. If your SD was/is married, he probably use to witness his wife getting ready. Men are entranced with the beautification process - so you should let him occasionally appreciate it! Leave the bathroom door open as you brush out your hair or let him linger in the door as you touch up your lipstick. Letting him witness such a private and personal ritual will likely indirectly but pleasantly remind him of some of his earlier intimate days with his wife. While yes, some men prefer it to always be a mystery how you get looking so fabulous, and I don’t recommend doing it ALWAYS… be aware that the casual access to feminine beauty might be something he is missing

2. Let Him Get Non-Gift Essentials For You

Wives often ask their man to pick up something from the store on the way home. Ibuprofen, vaseline, water bottle, etc. This not only gives him a ~mission~ allowing him to be a “hero,” it also has a sense of familiarity for him. You relying on him for something non-glamorous like allergy medicine? Surprisingly pleasant! Low key: tampons can even fall under this category. He’s picking up something incredibly intimate for a person who trusts him to take care of them. 

3. Watch A TV Series Together

Cuddled up on a couch watching a tv show you both like? Heaven for some. While this shouldn’t replace regular dates, it’s a nice low key activity to indulge in occasionally. Plus, it’s something to extra look forward to! No watching ahead without each other!! 😜

4. Cook Together

He likely has volunteered at this point to cook for you, and you totally should take him up on that offer! What is extra fun is being in the area while he’s cooking - turn him into your entertainment! Also, don’t be afraid to cook for him occasionally! While you never want to be expected to do him favors, making him dinner together, or bringing him a packaged homemade lunch for later will be deeply appreciated.  Plus, if there’s anyone he talks about you to, he will now be able to brag about how his girlfriend made him some delicious food last night! Oh, and now he has the leftovers for lunch! Makes him feel taken care of again 😌

Go Grocery Shopping Together

Take #4 a step further and hit up the grocery store together. Walking through the aisles, getting inspired by all the colorful produce, and just being with someone he cares about. The grocery store is frequently full of couples on weekends (so probably go at a less busy time) but it shows that level of casual intimacy with someone! He probably hates going by himself, so occasionally go keep him company 😊 Plus, he will now be able to stock up his place with your favorite snacks/seltzers - you’re welcome.

Don’t do them right away, and definitely don’t let them become TOO established of a routine. You need to balance him being comfortable without letting him get complacent. But letting him experience these intimate activities that he probably misses with his wife can ultimately make him happier and more satisfied with you.
