“Just… distract me,” Teagan pleaded. Her entire body was trembling. Teagan’s entire world was crumbling around her. The drug withdrawals were terrible, the pregnancy symptoms were kicking her ass, and all Teagan could do was turn to people around her for support ( as much as she loathed it ). The hormones only made it all worse. The crying and nausea had been constant, fear kept her from sleeping, and she had no idea what to rely on anymore. Teagan breathed out slowly. The universe was confronting Teagan with all of her worst fears at once, the biggest one having to finally be vulnerable and trust people. Even Teagan couldn’t handle this alone. “I need anything to take my mind off this. Whatever pops into your head first.”
running a hand through his hair, his eyes widen slightly and he finds himself stumbling when she wants a distraction. so he takes a moment to grab a hoodie, casually zipping it up. ‘’uh-- shit, so.. like, we can get food. i can tell you about my day or something. or, let’s just drive around-- yeah?’’
