“I promise. Can’t get rid of me now,” Sam pointed out with a smile. He meant it, too. After he almost so stupidly walked out of her life, he never wanted to feel that again. He knew no matter what, he would do what he could to never go down that path again. “Yeah. I mean, jealousy is what made me get stupid to begin with but I can get it under control. I mean, as long as you’re leaving with me, then I don’t care who catches glances. Well, actually I might care so let’s just not go there, yeah?” he added on, chuckling nervously. At her suggestion, his brow went up questioningly and he smirked, “Just keep it. We might want to play with that sometime.” He ruffled her hair and laughed softly, “Even with messing your hair up a little, you’re as attractive as ever. What are you doing to be?” He questioned, fixing her hair now as she had it before he messed with it. “So, I have a question…”

“Good.” The small smile that was on her lips now grew. She was glad that they were past the bump in the road they had recently been on. “True -- true,” she spoke softly with her lips pursed. It was new to her. Not just everything that was going on with Sam. Obviously that was something new, but the fact that someone had gotten jealous over her -- that was something she never thought she would witness. “I’ll just make sure if I wet any white shirts, it will just be you around, deal?” She asked with a chuckle. Of course it wasn’t going to be as if she would just dump a bottle of water on her to make the shirt see-through. A chuckle at his words easily became a gasp as he messed up her hair. “I’m not doing anything to you. You just have some weird new vision you’re seeing through,” she pointed out teasingly. When he began fixing her hair, she playfully narrowed her eyes at him. “You’re fixing my hair? Who are you and what happened to the real Sam Caine?” She joked. “Hm? What’s up? Ask away.” 

“Yes, and I always will be,” Sam responded with a smile. He was used to the way they got along and at that point, nothing she said would actually hurt him. Or he hoped. He was about to protest the following insult but just chuckled and nodded. “I can’t even argue with that, because I am,” he agreed, not really ashamed of it either. “Yeah, like you said, I’m such a guy, remember?” he pointed out, using her earlier words against her. Of course, that part wasn’t just him being a guy. He simply wanted to be with her. He shook his head at her last outfit change and clicked his tongue. “Nope. Not that one. I’d want to purposely pour a bucket of water over you but then everyone would be able to see you so I’d be screwing myself over and we just can’t have that,” he went on, pressing his lips together. He smiled when she joined him on the bed, “Yeah, still the first one. Of course, if you liked that best too. Whatever you’re most comfortable in.”

“I hope so,” Ellie said softly. The last thing she wanted to think about was him leaving again -- or trying to. That was one thing that scared her with this whole new thing that was happening between them... whatever that may be. She didn’t want things to turn bad and end up losing him forever. “You have your moments,” she half shrugged. “I mean...” She nodded as he threw her words back at her. She turned slightly on her bed so she was looking at him better. “You are.” She agreed to the words. Chuckling at his next words, she playfully snapped the suspenders she had on before looking back up at him. “What? You going to start getting all jealous and protective now?” She asked teasingly. “I don’t know how you would be screwing yourself over. It isn’t like I would be leaving with anyone else but you,” she promised. Bringing her hand up, she ran her fingers through his hair and placed a quick kiss to his cheek. “The only one that was uncomfortable was the latex one. Only because it was a struggle to get on and get off. I should throw it away, unless you want to try and rip it off me some time.” she told him teasingly. 

Finley: In the Woods books? Yes.

Finley: Good-o. You’ve redeemed yourself somewhat but I still think this calls for an education

Ellie: I'll add it to my list?

“Because you always offend me,” Sam responded, trying not to smile but it being completely impossible. At her words he laughed some and nodded, “Okay you might be right. But that was college. I was an idiot.” He pointed out, knowing there might be a comeback of some sort after that. “Latex is hot, but seems like I’ll have trouble getting you out of that. Can’t have that, now can we?” he teased, watching her go on to the next outfit. Prior to everything that recently happened between the two, this whole scenario might have been awkward. It was amusing how normal it seemed to him at that moment. “It’s cool. Though, I must admit. The first one is still at the top of my list. The whole school girl thing is getting me.”

“And yet... you’re still here.” She teased him, flashing him a smile. Of course almost everything she said was to tease him. The rest was just out of love. “You’re still an idiot,” she chuckled, of course joking -- somewhat. He did still have his moments but she made sure to point them out whenever he did show that side of himself. Raising an eyebrow at his words, a playful smirk formed on her lips. “Already trying to get me out of my outfit?” She teased. Placing her hands on her hips briefly, she softly sighed at his words. “Okay -- if that’s what’s getting you, I don’t think this last one will do much for you.” Turning she changed her outfit for the last time. Just a cut off white tank, baggy pants and suspenders. “If I were to wear this -- just have to hope for no water being thrown at me, or a wet t-shirt contest because this won’t be hiding anything.” She added a laugh, moving now so she was sitting beside him on the bed. “Short but fun fashion show. First one still your favorite?”

Finley: Bad? It’s a bloody crime.

Finley: What about Notting Hill? Please tell me you’ve at least seen Notting Hill.

Ellie: That bad? ):

Finley: Exactly how much of a cliché would it be for me to dress up as Hugh Grant on Friday?

Finley: Because I just found an exact replica of the shirt he wore in Four Weddings 🤩🇬🇧

Sam faked a hurt look at his words, and shook his head. “You offend me,” he said, sarcasm lacing his voice. He looked around himself to make sure he hadn’t already started making a mess. “I won’t make a mess, I promise. But I’ll clean if there’s a slip up,” he guaranteed her, his eyes never leaving her as she stripped from one outfit and got into another. Now he was really curious to know why she had some of these, but would oblige in not asking questions. “Indeed I did. What a shame,” he responded with a shake of his head. “This might be harder than I thought,” he pointed out, sighing softly to himself.

“You always say that,” Ellie pointed out with a roll of her eyes. Though, a smile stayed on her lips. “You better,” she pointed her finger at him as if she was trying to be stern, yet, she was anything but that. “A shame? Please. You would be oogling over the other girls there that were barely wearing anything.” She pointed out with a shake of her head and taking a deep breath while looking at the latex outfit that covered a bit of her skin. “It shouldn’t be that hard...” Trailing off, she turned around, going back to her closet, picking out a black dress that was fairly short, but not all that short. After struggling with the outfit she currently had on, with a few grunts while getting it off, she muttered under her breath. “Stupid latex.” Huffing, she switched her clothes, switching into her new outfit and turning around to look at Sam. “This -- I just thought had a Posh Spice-like feel. Somewhat. It’s looser than what she would wear, but still.” 

When Sam’s eyes met Ellie’s as she walked out of the bedroom, he smiled. “Something like that,” he went along and chuckled, making his way to the kitchen to make himself a bag of microwave popcorn. Once he joined her in the room, he plopped down on her bed, popcorn beside him as he gave all his attention on her. “That looks good, but I’m also looking forward to seeing the other looks on you. And the changes in between,” he teased with a smirk, taking a handful of popcorn and tossing some in his mouth at a time. “Oh, my bad. How rude of me. Want some?” he offered, waving the bag towards her.

“Mhm,” Ellie hummed, the smile staying on her lips as she turned to go back into her room as he made popcorn. Picking out the next outfit when hearing Sam enter her room, she looked over her shoulder at him. “And I knew you were going to say something like that. Such a guy,” she joked while watching him put a handful of popcorn in his mouth. “If you make a mess, you’re cleaning it up,” She informed him as she began to undress. Shaking her head at the offer while putting on her next outfit. A red latex top along with a black latex skirt. “Don’t ask me why I have some of these clothes,” she muttered while trying to adjust everything in the right areas. “You missed a lot in college.” 

After the last text from Ellie, Sam wasted no time in getting up from his couch and heading out. The two were kind of in limbo since their friendship became something else, except he had no idea what they was exactly. This dance, however, made him want to figure that out. Was she going to ask him because she wanted more or because they just always did things together? Either way, they would be going together and he was optimistic about it. Remembering she said it would be open, he simply let himself in, locking the door behind him. “Guess who,” he called out by the door, unsure where she would be. @dvmelliet​

Ellie had been going through her closet, pulling out clothes that she knew that she could turn into the 90s, along with some things she had from college when they had some 90s parties. She didn’t know why she still had them, but she was glad she didn’t get rid of them. Staying in the outfit that she had sent a picture to Sam, she was waiting to change when he got there. She wasn’t exactly sure what was going on between them. She just went along with their normal routine after the hook up, not knowing where his head was and she didn’t want to force anything on him either. When hearing his voice and the door lock, a smile formed on her lips, hands on her hips as she walked out of her bedroom, hands on her hips. “The boogeyman,” she teased. “Grab yourself a snack and I’ll go over a few things with you.” 

”You were cat-women and I missed it? I’m very disappointed in myself that I didn’t get to witness the hotness. You don’t have to wear white to be Aphrodite. You can find a dress that fits her in gold or a different color. Yes when you first think about him . I know he will always be your best friend, but do you see him as more? Or want him as something more? That sounds quite lovely.”

“I think I have pictures somewhere. I was completely wasted in them, but those are the best pictures, aren’t they?” Ellie asked with a chuckle. “I could always be her again... I just hated the whole trying to get into and out of the latex costume.” She said with a shake of her head. “Maybe... I will have to look at what I could wear for her.” When she asked about Sam, Ellie bit the corner of her lower lip. “I might? I just don’t want to be the only one who does? I know his feelings, but if that rapidly changes... then what?”

“alright, alright. enough talking about sam,” charlotte agreed with a nod. at the question, however, charlotte’s lips curled up in a smirk as she gently nudged ellie’s legs from beneath the table. “oh, come on. i’m always teasing you two. i had to be all serious about the two of you because of the thing, but now that’s sorted and we can go back to normal. no?” she asked with a shrug of her shoulders, making a mental note to talk to her brother sooner rather than later to see what he had to say about this. “oh please. you always have good ideas ellie. always!”

“Oh. I”m fine with talking about him. I’m just extremely embarrassed with the whole bonfire thing. I wish I could just go back and not do that... some of it,” she admitted with a chuckle.  There were very few things that Ellie regretted and that night was one of them. “What? You don’t tease us... or me. Or at least I don’t recall. Wow, I’m getting old and my memory is failing me if you do.. unless I’m just that dense.” Another laugh fell from her lips. Tilting her head side to side, her nose scrunched up a bit. “I wouldn’t say always.” 

Sam: Do you have popcorn?

Sam: so... now you don't want me? ouch

Ellie: Popcorn, chips, ice cream, ice pops...

Sam: I mean, if you want an audience as you model the options, I'll be right there.

Sam: I do want you as my date. But I want you to want that too.

Ellie: Why not? I can put on a little fashion show for you.

Sam: I still want to

Sam: wow.. I mean.. yeah, go with that.

Sam: Almost forgot to ask. You know, since I did the asking. You're coming with me, as my date right?

Ellie: Door is always open.

Ellie: You sure? I have other options as well...

Sam: um YES.

Sam: wow that's rude. and you call me rude? pfft.

Ellie: Could've seen it in person.
