I love your blog! How would yandere Xander, Takumi, and Ryoma react to a s/o who loves being intimate (hugs, kisses, hand holding, cuddling, etc), but is very shy about initiating it? S/o will initiate physical affections in private, though will be a blushing mess the entire time, every time. In public, however, s/o is always worried about maybe saying or doing the wrong things and possibly causing embarrassment to their man? Thank you so much!
Xander is more than happy to take the lead on initiating affection when the two of you are in public. He doesn’t go too far ever- there is a certain level of propriety that has to be maintained as the leader of Nohr. But an arm around your shoulder, or holding your hand in his- those are things he can do. He thinks your blushing is cuter than anything- but he’s not going to do much to assuage your worries. As long as you’re concerned about behaving, well, chances are you’ll stay in line.
In private, he still tends to be the one to initiate more, even unconsciously- with his darling, he tends to be one for casual contact. Even so, occasionally he’ll make an effort to hold back some- sometimes to make sure that you’re comfortable, making the first move, but more often because he can’t help but wanting to see you blush.
Takumi is far less secure about it all. No matter how much you might reassure him about the real reason you don’t want to be affectionate in public, there’s always doubt in his mind- maybe it’s actually because you’re ashamed of him, or maybe because you don’t really want to be with him. Or worst of all, maybe it’s because there’s someone else you’re interested in that you don’t want to see you with him. So maybe he might act a little less than rationally, always needing you close- an arm around your waist, your side flush against his, a kiss that lasts maybe just a second longer than is proper for the company. And if the grip of his hand in yours is just a little too tight to be comfortable- you don’t say anything.
In private, even with you more willing to take the lead, you rarely do- you rarely have the chance to, really. Even when he doesn’t feel the need to lay some possessive claim on you like when you’re out with others, he’s still a very tactile person, touching just for the sake of being close to you. He likes it when you do take the initiative a bit though, even if he teases you about it- he just likes to see you blush.
Ryoma is more respectful in his approach, deferring to your wishes ahead of his own. If he picks up that his S/O doesn’t want to be physically affectionate in public, for modesty or shyness or whatever reason, he’ll take a step back. Of course, people still have to know that you are, definitively, his, so he finds other ways to let people know, always somehow finding casual ways to slip into conversation what you are to him- my intended, my dear spouse- subtler, less physical (and for you, less nerve-wracking) ways for him to mark his claim over you.
In private, he’s all reassurance- of course he’ll take the lead, as much as you want him to, but if you ever want to initiate and he notices your nerves, he’s sure to let you know how good you’re doing, how it’s okay, how you’re doing everything right- he never wants you to be uncomfortable. Even if he does find your shyness endearing, the way you blush and bury your head in his chest- your comfort is the most important thing.
