“In John Michael McDonagh’s black comedy War on Everyone, the pair play gleefully corrupt Albuquerque cops. “It [the script] was just so different.  It felt so unique,” says Skargard.  Adds Pena:  “Any research I wanted to do for this film, it didn’t help to watch CSI and those kinds of shows.  Just watching [McDonagh’s] movies, seeing their specific tone, that really helped me.”
