Look I’m a massive Ronance shipper through and through. They’re my favourite ship. But some Ronance fans I’ve seen online have really gotta stop hating on Rovickie and Vickie just as a character. Vickie is amazing and her and Robin together are so adorable (I do ship Rovickie too and am still not over the Duffer’s breaking them up off screen for no reason and forgetting about Vickie altogether). But online in some spaces, I’ve seen so much hate for Vickie just cause she exists as a character. They view her as some “obstacle” in the way of Ronance when she’s not at all. Yes I do think they should’ve fleshed out her character more but she’s still her own character and Amybeth did amazing playing her. Rovickie was our one CANON sapphic ship in the show and some Ronance shippers just shit on it cause it “denied” Ronance. Like no it didn’t. And god forbid I post an edit that’s a different Nancy or Robin ship than Ronance (Vobancy, Nickie or Rovickie). It’ll inevitably end up with some comments on people shitting on Vickie or just that Vickie is included in the ship and it’s not just Ronance. Why can’t we all just co-exist and stop putting other ships and characters down
