        Delsin chewed thoughtlessly, not responding to Reggie at first, even when he made a big show of waking up. “Hey,” he eventually said, scraping his fork across his plate and scooping the last bit of his potatoes into his mouth. A shrug soon followed. “‘Dunno.” And because he knew that wouldn’t appease Reggie, Delsin pulled up the guide of the television set and pushed the button to make it disappear again. “Almost eight.”

Eyesight is still too blurry to make anything out when the guide is brought up but once he's told it's enough to warrant a grunt of approval. He's silent for the next few seconds, turning to sit on the couch properly before sinking into the cushion and shutting his eyes once more.

   Wait--

        Delsin tore his eyes away from television screen to look at the couch. Reggie was still sleeping there, arm thrown over his eyes, chest rising and falling with deep, even breaths. Absently, he shoveled a forkful of mashed potatoes into his mouth. Maybe he should wake Reggie up? He pondered the thought for a moment, then wrinkled his nose and looked back at the television. Nah.

For the next handful of minutes the older is able to continue sleeping undisturbed. However, upon shifting position Reggie snorts a bit harder than his previous bout of snoring, and is sent into a fit of choking. He coughs, propping himself up on an elbow—it's then he takes notice of his brother, whom he addresses drowsily;

   "Hey--"

He rubs sleep from his eyes, squints, and sits up fully.
