Gone are the autumnal and winter hues ! Archived are the oxblood and burnt orange palettes ! It's spring time, it's sunshine-is-here-your SADD is over-time. It's time to psychology wire your neural pathways through the gateway of color-to-emotion transference that happens when someone automatically reacts to an outfit or color worn by someone else. Everyone's senses are perking back up with the sunshine, bird song and lift of chill in the air. Therefore, they are once again susceptible to mind games. Even at the lowest level.
The Wexley being her most lived-in of safe houses, Via has the largest assortment of her own personal clothes here. While she still wears black around her apartment and as a go-to, spring is when Ballerina-Mode-Via breaks out neutrals, greys and whites. She often refers to this as her "barley closet" being that it's very grain-based in color. Her favorite non-black color is OAT.
Cardigans and matching tops, sweaters, jeans and athletic leggings are her every day. She has a few light sweaters in pale purple, blue and one pink cardigan. Typically these are paired with black flats or sturdy athletic sneakers (gotta protect those ballet feet, y'know? ASSASSIN TOES).
Via does all of her own laundry although Rosie has offered. Most everything she owns is very high quality in fiber and materials considering she keeps a small closet and doesn't want or need anything wearing out when she doesn't have the time to go shopping. Her high job status in ballet feigns the financial budget of someone who could afford these clothes in small supply while handling with care. Due to high quality meaning silk or wool, sometimes rayon and more elastic fibers, most of it MUST be delicately hand-washed.
Comfort is key. That isn't always the case in her job, what with parachutes, hidden holsters and grappling gear. Practice is one of the rare times she can forego the bulletproof materials and slinky opera dresses. Chunky sweaters, tights and fuzzy knee highs have always been a must. Boleros and stockings are usually pale pastels, tights remains white or grey (unless she's borrow from @aggieturner or @hannahxinterrupted).
Via can get away with these casual outfits outside of the theater. She's required to wear the mandatory training outfit at headquarters for sparring, fencing, combat lessons etc. otherwise it's only black or white leotards and tutus when she's in the theater preparing for an actual show or abroad for one.
Make-up is, as always, light if any since it sweats off.
Always black! She fuses work and personal wear into one. Of course there isn't a pool anymore, but when there was... it was delightful.
