Does anyone like remember the themes of the reunion/SWARM promo material with the zodiacs the logo changes and the teasers building lore. Did anyone ever like figure out what they even meant then the main thing is the release of FOD which doesn’t sound like it would’ve been a one off song or an end to the MCR discography with the “get up coward” at the end and has anyone seen the BTS clip where Gee says “opening track” and SWARM had the themes of FOD in the set design and FOD was performed every show but why

Now obviously when this took place the pandemic shut everything down and the producer who worked on FOD and a lot of other MCR projects passed away shortly after the release of FOD

Has anyone ever thought to possibly put together the idea that there’s another more recent scrapped MCR album and FOD was a main song from whatever that album might’ve been but too many factors played into it being unreleased

Because why revive a band and drop ONE open ended song that shifts into a new era when it’s not just a “nostalgia act”

(Don’t mind me I’m on that shit and wanted to yap my ass off because the delulu)

Because like who knows if there’s anything after the Black Parade tour (I’m an off and on MCR5 believer) and like there all almost or are 50 sooo like who knows what the future of MCR is

Lwk why I hate that I’m a post break up/reunion fan I don’t have like the same chances and opportunities to experience MCR as a fan who was apart of the fandom before the breakup

Like being a fan when the band was active and comfortable with the fandom mostly and releasing stuff appearing on tv interviews and stuff

Compared to being a new age fan with just uncertainty of if the band you love will even exist in the next year and if they’ll carry on with all the amazing shit they’ve done since the reunion

And again with the animosity towards the band members ruining it for a lot of people and ruining like fan interaction for the band like I get ur pissed off or don’t agree with whatever the band does but to continuously yap about it on every post that and not treating them like human beings for example fucking licking Gee’s hand

As someone who got into them post SWARM era and wasn’t even alive until Danger Days the rereleases give me the chance to experience what it was like when those albums were first released with the excitement and anticipation and all that if that makes sense

I don’t care if we ever get MCR5 or not like I’m just happy MCR even exists again and is active
