I use EurKEY which is basically QWERTY but with Umlauts on Alt modifier, because I accidentally bought a US keyboard and didn't notice until it arrived -.-

qwerty, not even using a qwertz keyboard even though i'm a native German and could make use of the "Umlaute", i'm nowadays used to replacing them with their non special character counterparts e.g. ä => ae

Interesting but don't u ever type in German? I feel like äöüß are pretty useful, hence why I use eurkey

I don't use a keyboard, like any real programmer I use a magnetic needle and a steady hand!
