When it comes to Bridgerton, why do you think we have such strong feelings about the characters and love stories that we adore the most?

For me, I have fallen in love with my favorite couples and their love stories because they resonate with me and make me feel represented.

After watching the first season of Bridgeton, I went and read all of the books (including the offshoot books not involving the main Bridgerton family). I loved them all to an extent, but there were two couples…two love stories…that really resonated with me.

The first one was Francesca. I am an introvert, like she is. Her story was even more relatable to me because she struggled with infertility, as I did. Unfortunately I was never able to have children. However, reading about her infertility struggle and then finding out that she was eventually able to bear children gave me so much hope at the time I read her book.

My second favorite book was Penelope and Colin. Growing up, I was always the wall flower and felt unseen. Even though I read their story as a married adult, it still took me back and made me think of my younger self.

Also, both of these stories are Friends to Lovers stories. This is one of my favorite tropes. I also thought for a long time that I would marry one of my close friends. It didn’t end up happening. We both married other people. However, we have remained friends through the years.

With all this being said, I will admit that the Bridgerton show has disappointed me sometimes when I compare it to the books that I loved.

Penelope and Colin have become my very favorite couple on the series. I know part of it is that I just love those characters, but I think a bigger part of it is that Nic and Luke just play those characters so phenomenally. I absolutely adore both Luke and Nic and love the little things that Luke, specifically, brings to his character that really elevates Colin.

I thoroughly loved Season 3, but also felt like Luke N. and Nic did not get enough screen time, especially of Polin being happy together. However, I do think the screen time they DID get was quite elevated compared to previous couples. The emotions portrayed by both of them were very raw and vulnerable. I feel like we saw them laid bare (emotionally…yes, they were physically laid bare in the mirror scene).

Speaking of the mirror scene. That scene left me flabbergasted. I have never seen on film something that felt so intimate, so real. I felt like an intruder who needed to avert my eyes. Watching it felt like I was a voyeur. It was such a beautiful, tender, and passionate scene.

I think part of the reason that it felt so real is that Luke and Nic are such brilliant actors. I personally think that in addition to being brilliant actors, that they used their real feelings toward one another to help portray their characters feelings.

When you think about new couples kissing in real life, it is often passionate and sloppy. I remember Nic saying in an interview when they were first kissing, they were told that it DID look too sloppy. She was reminded that Pen was a virgin and had never kissed anyone before Colin, and they were told that they needed to pull back a bit and make it look beautiful on film.

Honestly, can you imagine how hard that would be when you have actual feelings for a person and want to just go for it, but you have to hold back because that is your job? I find it even more commendable for them to be the professionals that they are and bring it back to a place where their kissing can look beautiful instead of just going for it.

Back to Season 3 as a whole, yes, I was annoyed that both Benedict and Francesca got so much of their own screen time that I felt was stollen from Pen and Colin. I would have been happy with a little less detail/screen time for Benedict and Francesca and a little more (happy) screen time for our main couple, Pen and Colin.

Then, in episode 8, my heart broke a little when Michaela entered the scene. I was super annoyed that as soon as she walked in that she and Francesca seemed to be enamored with one another. That felt like a betrayal to John Sterling. In the books, Michael fell for Francesca right away, but she was deeply in love with John, and only ever saw Michael as a friend until a couple years after John’s death.

I also was annoyed about the gender swap. I knew that would take away the infertility story for Francesca completely, and that is the thing that so strongly drew me to her story.

I know it’s possible for a lesbian couple to have infertility problems as well as a straight couple. However, in regency times, there was no artificial insemination or IVF. Yes, the show changes things from the book, like giving us sparkly eye shadow and popular songs, and more diversity in the characters, but they are not going to change how babies were made at that time.

Also, it’s not like queer people didn’t exist in regency times. They absolutely did.

It also seems that they are going against continuity as far as women not being able to own property or take on a title when a man dies. The only way the Featherington estate and Baron title stayed in the family for the Featheringtons is because Pen had a baby boy to pass the title to. That is also why the Mondrich family ends up officially in society; because their son was next in line for his title.

However, it sounds like the reason Michaela comes back to Mayfair is that she is getting the Kilmartin estate in order. If they were going to stick to continuity, the title would be passed on to the next male in line (which was Michael in the books) and a woman would not be in charge of getting an estate in order (even to prepare for the next male heir).

ETA: Apparently, at the time, in Scotland, females COULD be heirs to the title as long as a “special entail” had been added to the title when it was created.

I hate that whenever someone talks about not liking the gender swap for Francesca’s story that they are immediately called homophobic or racist. Yes, there are people who are one or both of those things, but please don’t put us all in that box, as I am neither of those things.

I believe that love is love and that you fall in love with who you do, regardless of gender. I absolutely love to read or watch a sapphic love story. I am just as happy when a queer couple gets together as I am when a straight couple gets together.

That being said, I wish they had not changed Francesca’s story, which resonates with so many women who have had their own infertility struggles. I feel like Eloise’s character would have been a much better candidate for a sapphic love story.

Jess Brownell stated: "I've said from the beginning that this show, in so many ways, is about allowing people to see themselves represented, allowing themselves to dream, and imagine themselves in these fantastical roles. It never felt right to not be inclusive of queer love as well within that fantasy"

While I agree that queer love does deserve to be represented, I don’t feel that it is right to cut out the representation of one group of people to give it to another. I definitely think she should have picked a different story to show that representation.

I also feel like, as a queer person herself, Jess has the agenda of only wanting to focus on queer characters, and I believe it is because of this focus that we didn’t get as much Polin in their season as they deserved. That makes me sad as a viewer and for the couple.

I had also hoped that Eloise’s story would be next season, so I was disappointed that it is not. I thought that because Fran needs some time to grieve her husband’s passing, that they would give her Eloise’s season to do so. However, looking back, I see that they set us up for Fran’s story next and they will give us a time jump.

Although I am disappointed in the major changes they made for Fran’s story, I have decided to go into it thinking of her story with Michael being one that happens in another universe where she is not queer.

I plan to embrace the story they give us with Fran and Michaela in Season 5. I am looking forward to how their story will play out. I think both Hannah and Masali will give us great performances. I also really hope that they will give us more Polin than they did in Season 4.

Also,I have a side note for Fran’s sapphic love story. It is cannon (in my own head at least) that Penelope was Francesca’s first crush. It would make sense since Pen was at Bridgerton house so much. Also, who doesn’t love Pen??

I don’t think Jake Dunn would have ever been considered for the role of Colin in Bridgerton. Based on his past performances, I don’t think he could have delivered even half of what Luke Newton has as Colin. That being said, I will respond with my thoughts as if it were a possibility for Jake to be cast as Colin.

I have never seen any kind of chemistry between Jake and Nic in any pictures or video footage I have seen. I have only seen either no interaction or friendly banter between them. However, as actors playing roles, I could envision them having some kind of onscreen chemistry.

I don’t think (in any stretch of the imagination) that Lukola’s believe Nic and Luke are together (or belong together) simply based on their strong on-screen chemistry. I think it is a combination of the onscreen chemistry, chemistry while doing interviews, and chemistry behind the scenes that all come together to incline fans to think they are together or belong together.

I have seen pictures and footage going as far back as the beginning of Bridgerton season one rehearsals, where Luke and Nic were laughing, flirting, touching, and tuning the rest of the world out. This was even when we know Luke was in a relationship.

I think that past footage and pictures (before season 3) already had people seeing connection for sure, but possible yearnings by both of them.

I think it is because of the footage and pics early on, that when we saw all the interviews during the World Tour for Season 3, and saw them always trying to be close, looking at one another with puppy dog eyes, showing jealousy, and acting unhinged (in both comments and actions) that it was reinforced to fans that they had to be something more than bestie costars.

So we continued to watch more and more interviews, where they continued to get more unhinged. We also watched Season 4 and realized how real the intimacy between them felt.

Of course fans and interviewers alike, started to ask if they were a real couple. The answer always came from them, and their team, that they were not together, and were both single. Of course, the fans had huge doubts about that.

How ironic that they were both said to be single at the time, but then shortly after saying so, first Luke, and then Nic suddenly had a significant other (who it now turned out they both had at the time they said they were single). How convenient.

It’s interesting that shortly after everyone started to question if they were together that they both magically had partners. Nic has always liked to keep her relationships private, but private and secret are two different things. Also,I can see Luke not wanting to flaunt a relationship after the backlash Jade got, but why would he deny that he was in a relationship, if he was?

Getting back to the Anon ask, I think if Jake would have been cast as Colin, there wouldn’t have been any videos or pictures where Nic and Jake looked to have feelings for one another.

I think a World Tour with Jake as Colin would be very much what I think the upcoming tour with Luke T. and Yerin will be. I think it would have been calm and focused only on their season and filming it. I think there would be friendly banter, and posing for pictures, nothing more.

If this was the case, there would not need to be a Luke in Jake’s role, because a fake boyfriend wouldn’t be required. However, I do think Luke N. being in Nic’s friend group would look a heck of a lot more loving towards her posing for pictures and being in videos with the friend group.

I am holding on tight to the prediction that Nic and Luke will reveal their relationship shortly after he is done with House of McQueen in two weeks.

I really feel like things are starting to align in the best way!

I think Nic has been in New York with Luke (and BN) most, if not all, of the time he has been there. I think both the Big Mood table reads and the tattoos were done earlier in the year and then we got latergrams to try to convince us that Nic has been in London.

We just got the reveal of Nic’s tattoo’s (two stars to go with her moon…my guess is that they are for Luke and BN…and there is room to add another little star if/when another BN comes along). Then today we got her repost of the “Frances” clip. I think the timing of these two things is very intentional and telling.

I think she is trying to tell us that the stars are finally aligning and this time we will get an actual reveal of their love, and most likely, BN.

What do you think?

ETA: Also, doesn’t the bigger star look a lot like the North Star? I think Nic sees Luke as HER North Star. I do not believe this choice was a coincidence.

So we know that Nicola is a little “shit stirrer”, as she confirmed in an Insta post she made on 12/23/24….but what is this??

She just posted this screenshot to her stories. I believe that she does everything with purpose, and look…she made sure we could see that this post was made by the restaurant on 12/26/24.

Is she stirring some more shit, or giving us some crumbs? Interesting…

Maybe Nic would be interested in going to this restaurant for an upcoming anniversary dinner? It does advertise as a place for celebrations. Just saying!

So, we all know that Luke is only going to be in House of McQueen until September 28th, even though it will run past that date.

I feel like this end date is significant!!

I fully believe that Luke and Nic got married last year (between the end of September and the beginning of October). I also believe that Luke’s BRB post last October was originally supposed to be a pre-announcement for them and they had planned to reveal their relationship/marriage at that time and Antonia threw a wrench in the mix because she didn’t feel she had gotten enough out of their agreement.

I think things have finally wound down and I believe that after Luke’s run on House of McQueen, they will announce their relationship by posting their one year wedding anniversary and possibly make a statement about BN and how they are now a happy family (just like Colin and Pen).

If you think about it, the timing would be perfect, because it is before Nic would start rehearsals for her play, and I think it would be enough time before Bridgerton Season 4 comes out for the buzz about their relationship to die down and not affect the Season 4 leads time to shine. Plus, I believe it would bring any of Nic’s and Luke’s fans who had given up on a possible relationship back onto the ship and entice those fans to want to watch Season 4.

I do believe that Luke also possibly has something new lined up shortly after his play, but before Nic starts working on hers.

I believe that Nic is in NYC with Luke so she can support him and take care of their baby while he is working, but he can also go back to Nic and BN each night. I don’t think he would want to miss out on very much of his babies life, especially because babies change so much in a very short amount of time.

I think Luke will support Nic during her play in the same way. I think he will take care of BN while she is working and she can come home to see them both every night during the run of her play.

I feel like they are both busy in their own ways but that their focus is to work in tandem to be together as much as possible as a family.

I have always predicted that they would launch before Season 4 gets released, but with enough time for the news to settle down so that it doesn’t overshadow the release of Season 4.

I believe that there is still time for that to happen, but the window of time for them to reveal is starting to close. However, I do feel that the narrative between them and the adjacent’s is starting to shift.

If they don’t reveal soon, I believe that they will need to wait until after the Season 4 release and after the 90 day watch window closes.

I would think that they would want to reveal before Season 4 comes out though. Based on pictures and video snippets we have seen of Nicola from Season 4 filming, it appears that Penelope is expecting her second child during Season 4. I would think that they would want to he able to openly talk about Nicola’s pregnancy during filming and how it was worked into the season.

When Bridgerton did not start filming shortly after the World Tour for Season 3 (as they had originally planned to) and they said they needed to do some additional writing, I think it is because Nicola told Shonda/etc. that she was expecting and would be pregnant during filming. I think the time they took was to do re-writes to work Nicola’s pregnancy into Penelope’s story for the season.

I had turned off my anonymous asks a while ago, because all I had received anonymously were horrible asks from cowards hiding behind the anonymity. The asks I received were so ridiculous.

Well, since turning it off, I have seen several good asks that were sent anonymously to other blogs. I thought I would give it another try, to see if I could receive any decent asks. So, I silently turned my anonymous asks back on.

I didn’t get anything for a while and I figured that would be the case. However, in the last week, the deranged asks have started pouring back in. It’s as if there are a group of people who tell each other “This blog has anonymous asks on. Let’s go annoy them”.

I have been blocking them of course and I have decided that I don’t want to be a platform for their delusions and stupid games. Honestly, how pathetic does someone have to be to follow someone who has the opposite opinion of them, just to say horrible things?

Most of these people do NOT like Luke or Nicola. From the horrible things they say, I would even call them haters.

Now, there have been celebrities who I don’t like, but I can’t say that I have ever hated them. It’s more indifference than anything. I wouldn’t even think about spending the time to research things they have done that I disagree with, let alone go to fan accounts or blogs to spew hate.

Some people think that hate is the opposite of love, but I tend to agree with the statement “The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference”.

Both love and hate are intense emotions. They are powerful and can be all-consuming. For this reason, I think these haters in my anonymous asks used to love Nic or Luke, possibly both, before one or both of them did something that these people disagree with. I honestly feel like you can’t have this degree of dislike without caring at some point previously.

What if…

So, it does seem odd to me that there seem to be so many Luke and Nic haters who want to spew that hate into the universe.

What if some of those hateful asks are not coming from actual haters, but from their PR teams? I fully believe that their PR teams keep an eye on Tumblr blogs to see what we are talking about.

What if they want to change the narrative or the focus of what we are talking about? Maybe they are sending some of these asks to get bloggers more focused on defending their thoughts (or just defending Nic and Luke if they say something bad about their character) rather than talking about what is going on with them at the time.

We have seen the misdirection and shit stirring from Nicola herself. Why not add another layer of misdirection? Why would their PR teams not want to bury a blog post about something relevant, that they don’t want us to focus on, with something that just isn’t relevant?

I’m not saying that this is what is happening. I am just saying that there seems to be a lot of haters lately, and I am going to keep this idea in the realm of possibility.

Anyone who follows me knows that I believe Nicola and Luke are together, most likely married, and that they have a baby who was most likely born the beginning of February 2025.

One thing I have not seen brought up is if people think baby Newton was planned or not. I believe that he (or she…but I still fully believe that the baby is a boy) WAS planned.

We have seen in pics and videos that both Nicola and Luke love children and it seems as though they want to be parents.

I fully believe that Nic and Luke had feelings for one another during (or even leading up to) the filming of Bridgerton season 3. Luke was still dating Jade at the time though, so I do not think they acted on those feelings at that time.

I DO believe that they used work as a way to act out their feelings while they were in the guise of their characters, without hurting Jade (because we know Nicola likes Jade, and I don’t believe she would purposely want to hurt her).

I think during that time Jade did get jealous of Nic (even if it was maybe just that Nic got to spend so much time with Luke and Jade didn’t). It’s possible that Jade suspected that Luke had feelings for Nic that he was trying not to act on. This is just speculation on my part. Whether it was jealousy or not though, Jade and Luke grew apart and broke up.

I fully believe that Luke and Jade broke up a good amount of time before it was finally made known to the public.

I think after that break up Luke and Nicola threw themselves into their characters and tested their feelings even more.

I believe by the end of filming they were dating and the other cast knew it (and were also aware of their feelings while they were filming based on the way their cast mates looked at the two of them in bts clips and the way Nic and Luke seemed to be in their own little bubble in many of those clips).

I fully believe that they were dating when Nicola went to Luke’s play and we got those cute couple coded pictures afterwards.

I think Luke was all in. However, I think Nicola was starting to question whether the closeness they had from filming 8 months straight together and all the days they spent filming very intimate, very vulnerable scenes together made them think they were in love, because they were so physically close for so long.

I think Nic was slightly concerned about being 6 years older than Luke. I also think she was concerned that his break up with Jade was pretty recent and she did not want to be the rebound.

I think these are very valid concerns, especially because they would continue to be co-stars on Bridgerton and having to work together. If they got deeper into a relationship and then it ended, working together could be very hard for both of them.

I think she asked for them to take a pause/break. I think she encouraged Luke to date other people and make sure that his feelings for her were real after some time apart. I think she also worked on her feelings during that time to make sure they were real on her end.

I think Luke still loved her fiercely, and was hurt that she would question their love for one another. However, I think he decided to give it a legitimate try in dating other people.

I think when they went back to film the re-shoots in December 2023, there were still major feelings between them. I don’t know if they talked about it at that point or not, but they knew that in January they would start their interviews and the 6 month world tour together.

I think Antonia showed up in Luke’s friend group while he was on his “break” from Nicola. I don’t think he ever thought of her as more than “a friend of a friend”. I do think that she caught real feelings for him though and thought she could win him over.

I think Nic and Luke officially got back together early into the world tour. I think it was possibly as early as February.

I don’t think they wanted to share their love with the world yet though. I don’t think they wanted it to affect the season 3 release or the ratings period.

I think they decided to remain “publicly single” while also putting a back up plan in place. I think this is where Antonia and Jake came in. They would be the PR “partners” for the two of them if anybody got too close to the truth (that Nic and Luke were dating).

Nicola knew that Jake wouldn’t somehow catch feelings, because he would never like her that way. I think they offered both Jake and Antonia some visibility and some endorsement in return for their help. What they didn’t count on was Antonia catching real feelings for Luke and somehow thinking she could steal Luke away from Nic.

I fully believe that Nic and Luke said that they were all in, end game. I think they decided pretty quickly that they would get married in the fall (I still believe they got married in September and planned to announce it in October with that “brb” before something happened and they had to renegotiate PR stuff with Antonia).

I think they discussed wanting to have kids together and decided, because of Nic’s age, that there was no reason to wait to get pregnant. I believe they started trying for a baby right away.

It’s easy for men to father children until quite late in their life. Women don’t have that luxury, as we are born with a finite number of eggs and most women go into menopause between ages 45 and 55.

Do you know that a woman who is 35 years of age or older at the time she delivers a baby, her pregnancy is considered a “geriatric pregnancy”? Age 35 has been historically when fertility starts to decline and the risk of certain pregnancy complications increase.

Nicola was 37 last spring. I don’t think she wanted to wait until she was any older to start their family. I think once they knew they were all in, that they decided to dive right into the deep end and get pregnant as soon as possible.

I believe that Nicola would have multiple things in place to prevent pregnancy if that wasn’t what she wanted. To me, the only thing that makes sense is for Baby Newton to be 100% planned, not an “oops”.

These are my thoughts. What are your thoughts about baby Newton!

P.S. I know that the continued appearances that Luke has had with Antonia has thrown some fans into a tail spin. I really do think that the situation with Antonia will come to an end shortly. I have predicted before that Nic and Luke will reveal their relationship before Bridgerton season 4 comes out. I also think they will do it in time for the news of their relationship to die down before season 4, so that the leads of the new season will get fans full attention. The window of time to get that accomplished is getting tighter day by day….so I think the time is getting near.

Now we know why he got such a drastically different haircut than he normally wears.

I think he will be phenomenal, as usual. I just wish I had the funds to go see him.

I am sure we will eventually get his wonderful curls (that Nic loves so much) back.

I have thoughts about the pics below. I think they were both taken and shared on purpose.

I find it odd that someone would take a picture of their friends taking a picture/video on their phone at a concert.

It’s one thing if you are taking a pic of the stage and your friends are in front of you and end up in your pic using their phone. However, these are clearly pics taken from the side. Then, of course, they were shared with at least one of the people in the pic, most likely both.

If my friend shared pics like that of me and my partner, I don’t think those would be the pics from the concert I would share to show who I was there with. I would most likely share a selfie of the two of us instead.

I think the pictures were planned so that Antonia could share them. They are not loved up at all and in the second pic you can only see Luke’s hand, phone, and the tip of his hat.

It looks as if Antonia was allowed/asked to post them, but only to her stories. I didn’t see it (as I don’t follow her), but I read that she first posted them to her grid, then took them down before posting them to her stories.

I believe that this is only the second photo that Luke’s face has been shown in that Antonia has posted to her stories. Do you know what is great about a story? They disappear in 24 hours, making them SO forgettable. I think these concert photos were meant to be seen, then forgotten.

For whatever reason, Luke and Nic are still trying to sell the narrative that they are dating other people (but the smart people are not buying what they are trying to sell).

For those who ARE buying what they are selling, I will say “life is painless for the brainless…”. Some people need to believe what they are spoon fed for some reason.

To anyone actually paying attention (and using their critical thinking skills), these “relationships” look so fake. I mean, I could offer up some things they could do that would make them look more believable, but first of all, I am tired of giving them ideas for free (I fully believe that someone from their PR teams is watching Lukola Tumblr accounts) and second of all, I am not entirely sure that believability is their end goal.

I am just excited to see Luke looking so 🔥partnering with Boss. I will say (not that my opinion matters) that I am not in love with the buzz cut, because it’s just not a style I like. However, Luke looks great with any haircut/hairstyle. He is just model material and it is so great to see anything new from him.

I believe tomorrow will bring some more great pics of Luke (I’m hoping at least)!

@frantastical mentioned that the second pic shows Antonia posing for a pic, but Luke’s phone screen is black. I almost pointed out the black screen on his phone but then I remembered that my niece recently downloaded some kind of setting to her phone that makes it so the screen can only be seen while looking straight at it. If you are to the side, the screen looks black.

As a celebrity, he could have a similar setting (of course not saying that he does) for privacy. With the slight possibility that he could use a similar setting, I didn’t mention it. However, if those pics were set up/approved like I think they were, I believe the black screen is intentional (I mean, they know how much we dissect their pics).

Is anyone else NOT surprised that we (once again) get so much movement from Luke and Nic on the same day after radio silence for so long?

I mean…it’s normal for best friend’s to work together for 9 months (only posting one selfie in that whole time), but always “randomly” posting to SM or liking other posts on the same day. So normal for “besties”, right?

Wrong!

During those 9 months of working together they could have posted or liked things on SM in the same timeframe because they would plausibly have breaks from filming at the same time.

Why not jump on SM (because we know how much they hate gabbing to one another (like nobody else is in the room) during their brakes. So why not ignore one another and hop on SM?

They are done filming Season 4 though. So for anyone who thinks they are just work “besties” who didn’t want anyone to know about their “bestiehood” while filming Season 4, what would be their excuse now for movement on the same day?

It would have to just be a “coincidence”.

I don’t believe in coincidence though. I believe in things that make sense to me. The constant sameness doesn’t add up to me.

I believe Luke cleaned up and changed his Insta account because he is getting ready for a change, some kind of announcement.

I think Nic is finally at a place where she can give the fandom hints again. The pics in her story were real, but also curated by her. She had the “sweet treat” that is very Luke coded.

She had the smiling pic of herself with just a sliver of a head/ear and thumbs up from her “companion”. I believe the joy on her face is real. The smile she gives the camera is the same smile she had when she talked about how happy her “potato” made her.

I believe the “potato” is BN. I also know from the past how much happiness Luke gives her. I fully believe that Nicola is sharing this hotel room with Luke and BN. I believe that those are the two people who bring her the most joy.

Anyone thinking that it could be Jake in that smiley pic that Nic posted, I want to ask why? Why would Nic need to hide Jake’s face in a picture? The answer is that she wouldn’t. She has posted pics with Jake before. They are friends and he is her fake boyfriend. The cat has been out of the bag on that one for a while now. Why would you need to hide a “boyfriend” you have already launched? You wouldn’t!

The person who she hasn’t posted much in a whole year…who she is hiding or not showing is Luke. Any time she is coy in posting who she is with, it is always Luke. They can’t reveal their relationship yet. Of course she needs to hide him.

What we are back to is crumbs though. She is giving us crumbs…and that is a very good sign.

The Lorde song Nicola posted is very Nic and Luke coded. They truly have been to hell and back over this last year. I believe it was love AND ovulation. I believe BN was planned because they knew they wanted a life together. I believe Nic and Luke are very much in love.

I believe this is the beginning of the true end to the games and PR crap. This leaves me feeling optimistic that a relationship reveal is just around the corner now. I think the reveal will be soon. We just have to keep holding on until they are 100% ready for the world to know their truth!

Oh, and I think the “Luke in Cyprus” pic that came out today is a later gram. I fully believe that they had it released today so that people would be distracted while they travel home from their vacation. This has become their MO for the last while. Nothing to worry about.

To anybody who saw their interactions not only on the WT, but clips or pics of BTS of them goofing off or playing pranks on one another have to know (even people who don’t think they are together, like I do) that Nicola and Luke didn’t just stop interacting at work. They have been filming Bridgerton off and on for 9 months, as a newlywed couple who are happy with a baby. You know by the way they gushed in interviews at the SAGs about that baby (on set) that they have loved filming this season together.

They wouldn’t just stop interacting. The fact that they have continued to be silent is screaming at us that they are hiding something.

The last pic of the two of them that they have posted was their selfie back in October. We know how much Nic loves a selfie, and how (even though he doesn’t care for selfies much) Luke is ALWAYS eager and willing to take a selfie if it is with Nic.

Of course we saw that they took a selfie together at the SAGs, but I believe that they have taken SO many selfies between October and now.

Are we expected to believe that both Nic and Luke have changed so easily?

I know that people can and do change, but are we really to believe that not one, but both of them have done a 180 on so many things that they actually told us about themselves? Let’s take a look at those changes:

1. They both mentioned more than once in interviews that they like to keep their romantic relationships private. Nic has kept hers so private that there is no actual confirmation of her with anyone she has dated, only speculation. She lived with someone for 2 years and nobody publicly knows who that was.

Luke’s past girlfriends, while people did know who he dated and they were photographed together, he didn’t share much. He did however, let his girlfriends share pics of them. Those pics also showed a loved up couple. You could tell by Luke’s body language and his easy smile’s that he loved his past girlfriends.

You can have a private relationship, and it can still be known who you are dating.

Private is not secret.

So, are we expected to believe that not one, but both of them are no longer being private with their relationship’s? Both of them are just bringing their “SO’s” to events together? Luke, who has said he doesn’t like public displays of affection is just kissing his “girlfriend” in public??

It’s funny how they have both “hard-launched” their partners, and yet neither of them has verbally confirmed that they are dating their “partner”.

2. Nic and Luke have said in past interviews that they were best friends. They said that they have a beautiful relationship/friendship. Nic said her relationship with Luke was unlike any other relationship she had. They have both said they have a deep love for one another.

So many people are trying to say that Nic and Luke are beefing or that they are no longer friends. Why would they go from having such a close loving relationship to not being friends. Just because you are dating someone else (which they are not imo) doesn’t mean a beautiful, strong friendship that was built over 5 years would just fade or dissipate.

They have literally been filming Bridgerton together for the last 9 months. We have seen in bts footage and pics just how much they enjoy filming together and how much both of them love their Bridgerton family.

3. Nicola has posted pics every season they have filmed. She is always taking pictures. I think a lot of those pictures she keeps for private viewing. However, she has always posted random pictures or her and other cast members between scenes having fun and being silly.

She has not posted a single picture of anyone in the cast behind the scenes while filming season 4. Not a shot of her getting her hair done. Not a shot of them resting in between shoots. Not even Champagne Friday pictures.

The only picture we got, and the last one posted (by both Nicola AND Luke) was their selfie in October with “New Year, same hoodie”, as the Champagne Friday hoodie was laid over the front of Nicola.

At the time, it led me to believe that they were continuing Champagne Friday’s and that we would get more Champagne Friday pictures throughout.

I think that maybe the “New Year, Same Hoodie” was not a reference to Champagne Friday’s after all. I think they may have been put on hold. I don’t think that hoodie actually fit Nicola comfortably at the point of the picture being taken and I don’t think she could actually drink Champagne while filming this season.

I think in solidarity, the rest of the cast came up with a different Friday celebration since Nic was the one who stated Champagne Friday’s to begin with, and if she couldn’t participate, they didn’t want yo continue that tradition without her.

4. Even though Luke had no problem showing with past girlfriends that he actually liked them when someone snapped a pic of them, he had SUCH a hard time looking happy in pics with A for over a year (until we got the staged BAFTA pics, which really don’t count for me as they show a fake “happy” and Luke’s body language is still off in them).

Every bts video and pic of Nic and Luke , you can see the love they have for one another, you can see the way they both seem to glow when they are together. They can’t hide a natural reaction like that. It’s impossible to. I think they thought that it could be possible. I think that is why we got the videos and pics from the SAGs. I think that was them trying (and spectacularly failing) to hide their true feelings for one another from the public.

I think one reason Nicola has not posted any pics of their breaks in filming is that every pic taken of Nic and Luke shows just how much in love they are. It is not possible for them to not show that love when they are together.

I think a reason Nic didn’t post any pics from cast in between shoots is because everyone knows how many pics Nic has posted with Luke in them in the past. They would question more why Luke was not in pics than they would question no pics being posted at all. Nic couldn’t even post pics of just Luke because we would know who took the pic because of the way he looked at the camera.

So the silence on Nic’s end (as far as SM goes while filming Season 4)…it makes sense. I also think that filming Season 4 was a lot different for her. I think she got tired more easily because of the condition she was in and because of all of the changes in her life while filming this season. I think the season may have taken an extra month to film because they made some concessions for Nic.

I believe that both Nic and Luke are happier than ever though, and I believe soon that this silence will lessen.
