I've been working on reference sheets for some nine sols characters because I just can't find unshaded pictures of these cat people and I really want to keep the designs in my drawings consistent :)

Just to clarify, I'm really mentally exhausted today (might be artblock or small creative burnout), so I don't have much energy for thinking in english, so I hope that whatever I wrote below makes sense XD

The main idea for this AU was "Nine sols characters but with healthy relationships (be it platonic or any other)". It could also be classified as a fix it fic because of the absence of tianhuo and mutants. I was going for a funnier more chill vibe than what's portrayed in game (or it's just Nine sols but family friendly call it however you like). It'll be a series of short comics depicting the characters in various silly situations (mostly Fuxi and Jiequan being idiots because I recently started shipping them, but I'm not sure whether I ship them in a romantic or platonic way lol).

In this AU Nuwas legs are still in a... not very good condition but I'll work on it :)

And I feel like I need to say this, in this AU Fuxi and Nuwa are just siblings, nothing weird is going on!

Also If anyone wanted to ask, that one panel where Fuxi is shouting, he's shouting at Jiequan.

And yes Mimi almost forgot to mention them. Mimi was created by u/ThatArtisticBear on reddit (go check them out if you haven't already, their drawings/comics are so cool) and I fell in love with this scorpion so much that I decided to accept it as canon XD. And asked the original creator for permission to include them in my drawings. So I hope I did okay X)

I just want to have fun with this AU so idk how long the comics will take and I don't want to give myself deadlines because it kills the fun for me :)

Average Ji interaction

I've been drawing this for a week now, my hands freaking hurt lol. Also crying because I couldn't get Jiequan's face right once again (It took me way too long to finally feel satisfied with it), it's a borderline skill issue on my side at this point lol. I had to take a break because he looked too much like an owl on the sketch XD

But it's finally finished and I am very happy with the result.

Ji is actually my comfort bossfight and one of my favourite characters in the game :D

I made Ji's speech bubbles in cursive because of how old the guy actually is and also felt like it fit him more than my normal handwriting. Jiequan's speech bubbles are in... Idk how to call that writing style but it was really fun to write in :P

This short comic was inspired by the Jiequan scene and also by the Kuafu dialogue after you beat Ji. Where Kuafu tells Yi that Ji once invited him to the Grotto of scriptures to "show him something he's never seen before", but the poor guy didn't go because he was too scared of ghosts. We never learned what Ji actually meant by that, but... ...

Someone probably made a similar joke already, but I really wanted to make this :P

It's inspired by that one conversation Yi and Kuafu had about rations.

And yes I'll never pass up on an opportunity to draw a LOTR reference :)

Hi, I'm currently on my second playthrough of this amazing game and I feel like it's becoming one of my comfort games. I already thought about some challenges I'll do after getting a platinum :)

Anyway when I was refighting the bosses for fun I noticed that when entering the second phase, Jiequan holds his teapot in an "interesting" way, then thought about Fuxi and Nuwa being nobles and stuff and it hit me.

I spent way too much time drawing this. Most of which was eyeballing Fuxi and Nuwas designs or having a mental breakdown because I couldn't get Jiequans face right XD.

I would compare drawing Fuxi and Nuwa to their bossfight, It's hard as heck, but actually kinda fun. I drew the last black and white panel from memory! After this I have their designs permanently etched in my brain lol. Yes I know I could've drawn their easier designs, but I am not taking any easy routes, plus I like the complex designs much more :)

Yea I am currently very obsessed with Nine sols (sekiro like, 2D metroidvania) :D

I started drawing this before beating Jiequan and finally found some time to finish it. It was my first time drawing two different light sources and back then I didn't know how Yi's sol seal looked like, so I drew the symbol he had on the back of his (jacket?).

After beating the game I googled how his actual sol seal looked like and im glad I did lol (Didn't want to google it before, to avoid spoilers).

Hi guys, I've been gaming a lot in the past few weeks (which is the reason I didn't post much).

I picked up Nine sols and I am obsessed with this game, I absolutely love it (got the True ending this friday and let me tell you, a lot of emotional damage was taken that day). I won't spoil anything tho :)

I drew this picture for a different ocassion, but I liked it so much, that I had to post it here too (plus I added 2 more game references). These are all games, that I enjoy playing. I had a lot of fun drawing this.

Now that I think about it I should do more game fanart, well I'm absolutely going to make some Nine sols fanart, that's for sure :D

The sketch started off as Tigerstar but I couldn't get the neck and head fluff right so I turned it into Mapleshade instead :)

I went with a kinda easy design for her and focused more on the body shape (so that she would look fluffy and huggable as a contrast to her twisted mind).
