rational me: maybe i should put this away properly then it’s sorted adhd me: nahhh just throw it on the floor and leave it there for the next few months

adhd is constantly flip-flopping between confusion and hyperawareness 

Some days I feel like a moron coasting through life and not comprehending a single thing anyone has ever said to me and other days I feel like one of the great philosophers of yore. It’s such a crap shoot.

adhd culture is rewinding something because you stopped paying attention and missed a bit, then forgetting to pay attention to the bit you missed and having to rewind it again, then forgetting to pay attention to the bit you missed and having to rewind it again, then forget-

the fun part about having adhd where your brain won’t cooperate with you because the task at hand is too easy and therefore too boring and undeserving of your screwed up attention span

i wish i were at least the kind of procrastinator who’s actually doing something else instead of the thing they’re supposed to do but NO! don’t even have that excuse!!! i really just sit around and feel guilty. that’s all i do!!! peak dumbass mood

adhd culture is having so many problems with society’s concept of a “work ethic” but still wanting to punch someone in the face if they think you’re lazy or incapable

the big depression + adhd mood is constantly staying up because you need to do something but not doing in because you’re too mentally and physically exhausted and then the cycle just worsens
