A lot of people have seen me in and out of the rooms. I’ve had ups and downs, super highs, & super lows. I really am beside myself with this one. Since Day 1 when we met in treatment back in Feb 2018 we’ve been at it together. You were my best friend. We chaired each others cele’s, we know each others families, we shared a million laughs, and we truly rode this journey together. You had my back through my relapses & you loved me unconditionally just as I did my best to do for you my man. The kind of friendship where you can spend some time not hanging every day, or talking every day, but when you do it’s like you never missed a beat are the most beautiful. And we built that homie. I will miss all your goofy ass tendencies, the REAL bad dad jokes, you kicking my ass in bowling, and of course the daily “I love you’s.” You had one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever met, and all you wanted to do was help others recover. My bigger, little brother moves into Bryant tomorrow morning to start his freshman year. My baby sister moves into her own spot to start her junior year Friday at Merrimack. I go back to school in September. & Guinness goes to bad boy camp in September. Never thought I’d go back to school, never mind alongside my brother and sister. Another blessing of recovery.
