Telma Lannoo studeerde Grafisch Ontwerp aan KASK Gent. In haar masterjaar ontwikkelde ze een methode om haar tekeningen tastbaar te maken door het ontwerpen en vervaardigen van vlaggen. Met de tekening als startpunt creëert ze ook maskers, maquettes, weefsels, …. De eerste schets is een impulsieve krabbel waaruit steeds verder geïnterpreteerd wordt naar de uiteindelijke vorm. Het begin is voor haar net zo waardevol als de finale uitwerking.
