VERSUS XIII

I totally get that, to me duel coloured eyes also is like the “trying too hard to stand out” type. Though they may have a purpose of some sort and if that’s the case then I don’t think it’s terrible. Maybe eyes that see the souls of the dead? ;) Lool jk I don’t think anyone can replace Versus XIII Noctis, but also it has to do with temperament and behaviour as well. Versus XIII Noctis to me was a lot more confident in his actions (when fighting) than FFXV Noct was, Yozora seems to elude that he has that same confidence as VS Noctis but it’s hard to tell. 

This is.... super late I apologize for that. I definitely think there’s going to be something to do with Yozora/the world of Verum Rex to do with KH4 since he’s shown in that trailer. He might ask Sora to help him with the robots taking “Stella” (I need to think of a temp name for her haha) or something like that. I also am not the biggest fan of how she was portrayed but I believe if she was also fighting it would become a little too obvious, (how should I say it..) too on the nose? I doubt SE wouldn’t see all the similarities if she was also a fighter.

Also the fact that he is actually missing from the FFXV announcement trailer kinda proves it was him as well too! But as for the parallels and Lightning’s lines / Being snow’s Cie’th.... I get why since it is versus xiii after all but ksdflkff,, Personally I don’t think so 👀” I think by Versus XIII it might have just been a parallel world that had apart of the FNC story within XIII

I actually haven’t heard of any ! Is there any theory specifically that does this?? o: Unless you mean like Nomura’s more recent or other character designs referencing designs from versus then I don’t think they’re terrible !! Like some of them are really convincing and I like hearing theories in general but a lot of it might not be true most of the time (though after kh3 I’m beginning to rethink that haha) q w q ! But do let me know if there is a theory about that because I’m super curious honestly !!! 

Hey there!! Yeah that’s true, but keep in mind ffxv was still his game before Versus was involved ! I believe he was going to plan it on his own with his own characters, etc. but then SE higher ups approached him and tried to make him use Versus concepts / characters so it wouldn’t be a “waste” I guess ! I believe I heard that he didn’t really want to at first but then couldn’t really say no so then with the time he was given (screw SE higher ups) he did try his best to make it his own along with using some //very little if i’m being honest// Versus references ! This is just a mess that’s no directors faults and all falls back to SE higher ups not understanding anything about games and just caring about $$$. Tabata shouldn’t have been forced to take on something he didn’t want to for HIS game, and I believe that’s a big reason why he decided to leave SE and make his own company where he can create the games he wants to make. Which I believe is something I’d do too, so I wish him the best :) !
