Banning abortions over 6 weeks really is not going to help much with the situation; especially sending woman to jail for 30 years for it. There are reasons that woman get abortions then to just do it for the fun of it. It’s not easy and not cheap. I only could see more trouble stirring from this because if a woman really needs to have an abortion she will find a way, even if it’s unsafe.

y’al…the new abortion law in Georgia…that outlaws any abortions past 6 weeks….women might not even REALIZE they are pregnant to MAKE a decision at that point….the Alabama proposed law…criminalizing ALL abortions (they voted AGAINST rape and incest exceptions…), trying to explicitly get a suit before the new Supreme Court to overturn Roe…..I’m just…. so angry….the “pro-life” advocates fear-monger + talk of supposed 8-month abortions (fact check: those do NOT happen unless there is a SERIOUS medical issue threatening the life of the mother or the fetus) or as if women just choose to get abortions callously….when in reality, abortions are extremely personal, private decisions between a woman + her doctor, based on a variety of medical concerns, circumstances of conception + deeply personal viewpoints….we are going backwards in time to the era of dangerous coat-hanger abortions and I’m…just so angry that these MEN who do not have to CARRY a full term pregnancy with all of its physical, emotional, financial and social implications are making these decisions for women…!!
