Charlie/Nuwanda is somewhere under the non-binary umbrella, their pronouns are they/he/she and they use the names Charlie and Nuwanda interchangeably. They're also bisexual.

Nuwanda used to have a crush on Knox (who, by the way, is a cishet ally IMO) when they were teenagers and one night while they were both a little high she told him. Knox assured him that he didn't mind and they could still be good friends, he just didn't return their feelings.

Meeks is a queer/unlabeled trans guy with a lesbian single mother (who loves p l a n t s!!).

Pitts is either pan or omni and always gets drunk off two glasses of wine, somehow (those two things aren't related, I just felt like they worked in the same sentence).

Meeks and Pitts are not and never were dating but people think they are. Meeks is always quick to correct them while Pitts' lanky ass just awkwardly stands there.

Todd makes bracelets, stickers, and pins to sell on Etsy.

Todd is gay and demisexual, and Neil is gay.

Cameron is straight (obviously) and cisgender (obviously), and while most of his friends are LGBTQ+ he still gets somewhat uncomfy talking about it. He's trying his best to open his mind but it's difficult because his family is queerphobic and he was raised not really being allowed to have his own opinions. The other poets are patient and do their best to help him out whenever he screws up pronouns or gets squirmy when they're on the topic of LGBTQ+ stuff.

Pitts is a Beyoncé stan, because of course he is.

Todd *finally* got an autism diagnosis after years of seeking one out and Neil was over the moon for him.

After they graduated, the poets all moved into a big house together (minus Cameron, because he's studying abroad in Europe). Nuwanda, for some reason, REALLY wanted the attic room, and they gave it to her because no one else wanted it. They covered the sloped ceiling in polaroids and strung fairy lights around the walls. They also took the doors off their closet (an idea he got from Queer Eye, which Neil turned the whole group onto watching), announcing, "No more closets!" as she did so.

Charlie and Meeks like to confuse the fuck out of the other poets with trans jokes the rest of them don't understand. For example, when they're moving into the new house, Neil finds Meeks lying on his bed reading a book when he's supposed to be packing his things. He asks him if he's going to start packing anytime soon, and Meeks replies, without looking up or skipping a beat, "I'm always packing." Neil just looks at him with a confused expression, meanwhile you just hear a sNOrt from the other room because Nuwanda gets it.

Nuwanda is also a huge Set It Off fan and is a slut for Maxx because who isn't?

Todd and Meeks are both a little obsessed with Criminal Minds and have crushes on Spencer Reid.

Charlie will read smut fics out loud for no reason while everyone tells him to shut the hell up.

Neil has ADHD and has tried to write several books but always ends up abandoning them four chapters in because it gets tiring and he either grows bored with plot ideas or forgets about the book entirely before finding it in his Google Drive a few months later and moving it to trash because he knows he's not going to finish it.

Nuwanda calls every minor inconvenience homophobic even if it has nothing to do with sexuality.

This is extremely popular but Charlie and Neil were each other's first kiss (duh).

Pitts has a collection of succulents, bonsai trees, and flowers in his room that he shares with Meeks. It always smells great.
