usually kokuyo gang goes to convience stores sometime during the day but they decided to do a late night run to a store in namimori

there they all see a familiar face... gokudera working. they send chrome to pay for the food, gokudera tries not to yell at the loud group since his boss is watching, and chrome tries not to shake from embarrassment bc she has to pay with spare change

gokudera gets really annoyed which mukuro sees so now that store during that time is the best place to get food (and bother dera)

kokuyo gang lives off junk food so convenience stores are like grocery stores to them

usually ken grabs handfuls of gum, chikusa gets sodas and ramen chips, mukuro gets kitkat bars in tons of different flavors (he likes the brown sugar and strawberry cheesecake ones the most tho), chrome gets cup noodles and fruit (if its cheap) and some wheat chocolates

mm and fran dont go bc mm “isnt some commoner who shops there” and fran doesnt go often bc everyone else tries to steal milk bread, candies, or just more expensive stuff by stuffing it in fran’s hat

chikusa has fairly severe mobility issues, some of it from trauma from the estraneo experiments, possibly fibromyalgia or severe s-curve scoliosis. with his ptsd, muscle pains, and back pain that make him hunch over, he can have bad depression episodes and only moves to take his showers (which help with the muscle pains)

usually during these times, he is just sitting or leaning against something and practicing his yo-yo skills since it doesnt take too much muscle usage

ken has a bad lisp due to his fangs. he feels really self conscious about it, especially when the kokuyo gang has enough extra cash to go out to eat and he tells his order and has to repeat himself to the server

people (who dont know that he could and would kill them) tease him about it when he gets really talkative, but either ken beats them up or chikusa or mukuro interfere and beat that person up

hes tried a few speech therapy tricks but they never work since ken would have to get rid of his fangs completely to get rid of his lisp
