#Make Racists Scared Again 2026
Share if you want people to know they should be scared to be racist around you 👊🏾
"making them afraid will make them more racist" that's wild to me, because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially.
Idk about you, but "I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend if I'm a white supremacist" seems like a pretty logical thought process to have, and I wish THAT were the normal and not "I'm afraid my friends will hate me if I tell them they made racist jokes".
Ignoring the relatability in the last sentence i do want to add just how shocked i am that racism exists in such a large scale in 2026, like i know that all movements like these take time but at least in bigger countries it should be a minuscule insignificant minority that is racist, why can i walk down the street and hear something racist if i start listening, that should not be how it is but it is
"because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially"
Y'all gotta stop being shocked and start DOING something about it 👍🏾

Because I feel like kids of color don’t hear it enough: domestic abuse is not a part of your culture.
A lot of us were raised with the idea that “its normal for wives/children to get hit! it helps them learn– only white folk don’t get beaten when they misbehave”. That’s not true, white people aren’t the only ones who deserve a safe and abuse free environment. Black and brown people can and do have loving families.
If you’re in a situation where you are enduring abuse and people use your culture to justify it, I want you to know that what they’re telling you are lies.
as someone who studies this: statistically speaking, child abuse (including “spanking”, because all forms of hitting children are abusive) is pretty much equally prevalent in households of all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. so yeah, don’t let people use the “culture” excuse on you, but also, don’t believe others are experiencing it less just because it’s less normalized in their culture to talk about it. we all gotta work together to fix this shit.
happy disability pride month to mean cripples, nasty addicts, people with down syndrome who arent nice and talk constant shit, wheelchair users that WILL run you over, autists that dont care and arent about to pretend to, people who lie to their psychiatrists, people that sit on the floor in public places with no benches, amputees that lie profusely about "what happened", ; to the "noncompliant", the "drug seeking", the "mean", the "difficult" and the "undeserving", and so on and so forth, i love us all and we deserve the world actually mwah mwah
to people that hide contraband in their assistive devices. to people that do party tricks they arent supposed to and people who will spit on you if you ask them to do party tricks. to people that weaponise the infantalisation of disabled people for their own purposes (theft et. al.). to the people who "misuse" their medication and people who dont take it at all. to my mother, who takes out her hearing aids when she doesnt want to hear shit anymore but will still pretend to be listening so you dont catch on. to people who sleep all the time and to people with "abnormal" circadian rhythms who are unwilling to alter their sleep/wake cycle to best appeal to societal (and moral) expectations. to people that complain loudly about inaccessibility and refuse to try and "make it work". to people that charge money for invasive questions and people that pretend not to understand the question at all.

British Museum colludes with pro-Israel lobby to erase Palestine from historical exhibits —— An investigation by Middle East Eye has exposed the British Museum for covertly removing the terms “Palestine,” “Palestinian,” and “Israeli occupation” from its historical displays following intensive lobbying by pro-Israel activists. Internal emails obtained via a freedom of information request reveal that the London institution rapidly altered descriptions of artifacts dating back to 7,500 BCE to appease political pressure groups, including the Board of Deputies of British Jews and high-profile figures. While museum director Nick Cullinan publicly claimed the changes were part of a standard curation refresh and backed by audience testing, the newly released disclosures confirm that no visitor research regarding the term "Palestine" was ever conducted. The internal correspondence details a frantic effort by museum staff to pacify complaints lodged between October and December 2024, with one directive explicitly ordering curators to remain hyper-conscious of the anniversary of 7 October. In one instance, a panel describing ancient rulers of “Palestinian descent” was scrubbed and changed to “Canaanite origin” within five hours of receiving a complaint from the Board of Deputies. Middle East Eye cross-referenced the redacted emails to identify key lobbyists, including right-wing commentators and historians who weaponized access to the museum's leadership to argue that historical references to an ancient Israelite occupation would stoke modern antisemitism. The targeted erasure has sparked a severe diplomatic and cultural backlash, with Palestinian Ambassador to the UK Husam Zumlot accusing the public institution of betraying its historical integrity to serve political ends. Cultural figures and human rights defenders have condemned the museum for complicity in what the United Nations classifies as an ongoing genocide in Gaza, noting that the bureaucratic deletion of Palestinian history in London directly mirrors the physical destruction of heritage sites on the ground. Despite photographic evidence showing that references to "modern Palestine" were replaced with "Gaza and the West Bank" at gallery entrances, the British Museum has refused to answer specific inquiries, issuing a blanket denial to Middle East Eye that any erasure took place.

Good. One of the things I love about the USA is that we have birthright citizenship. People come here for better chances and better lives. That's the whole fucking point.
It's really fucking telling, the people you see freaking out about this.
I've seen people online saying we should be pregnancy testing "at the southern border," of course, just in case someone is trying to smuggle a foetus in.
I can't even put into words the fucking rage.
Not to mention the fact that for many of us, our families that have been in the USA for 10 generations weren’t actually considered US citizens until a few generations ago. The 14th Amendment established African American freedmen and Black people born in the U.S. as citizens in 1868—several years after emancipation—and it took a couple more years for the Naturalization Act of 1870 to actually create legislation to begin a formal citizenship process. Last month was the 102nd anniversary of the Indian Citizenship Act that granted birthright citizenship to all indigenous Americans born within U.S. borders without stripping them of their tribal rights and lands. For decades Asian people born in the U.S had ever-changing legislation in regard to their citizenship, based on which nation their families immigrated from, until the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965. Latino people have been living in the U.S. as citizens technically since the U.S. acquired the land from Mexico with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1850, but it didn’t protect them from horrible discriminatory practices and prejudices based on their original nationality unfortunately—and it hasn’t stopped being deemed a political issue for ignorant people since.
Let there be no peace or stability for white supremacist assholes. Remind them they are stuck in the same idiotic thought processes that trapped their ancestors generations ago too.
"Trans people existing does literally nothing negative to your lives you crybaby wimps.
Your life is getting harder and costlier because of the oligarchs, not trans people"

Palantir CEO Alex Karp recently rhapsodized that US air strikes on Venezuelan civilians would be good for business, if only it were legal.
Let’s Mussolini this guy
it sucks that the overwhelming majority of medical messaging around salt/sodium is "evil poisonous substance that you're definitely already eating way too much of," because like. you do still need it. (trust me, as a POTS-haver, I've had to completely rewire my own brain about salt.) and you need more salt when the entire northern hemisphere is hot enough to fry an egg on. ever tried sucking down the recommended 64oz of hydration per day entirely as water, only to find you're peeing constantly without any of the purported benefits of being "hydrated"? assuming you don't have another medical condition that causes frequent urination, your body probably needed more salt/electrolytes to be able to hold onto that water and make use of it. if there was ever a time to keep a sports drink/pedialyte/etc within constant reach, it's when the heat index is 110°F/43°C.
kinda fucked up how my parents’ generation’s high school musical classic was about kids driving around in cars and owning leather jackets whereas my generation’s is about a class of kids working food service jobs for a bunch of rich golfers to survive
I never actually watched High School Musical, but I don’t think it’s anything like that. O_o
do you think i would lie about high school musical for notes
Sorry for not doing the tag game you tagged me in I love you
the idea that every summer will be as hot if not hotter than this for the rest of my life is unbearable i need to (remembers suicide jokes are bad for my mental health) murder an oil executive

the idea that the british empire accepted their decline with grace and peacefully and willingly withdrew from all their colonial territories and took their loss quietly is commonly expressed as fact but it's very much untrue, it's a successful propaganda campaign for them to claim that this is what happened but they were busy committing war crimes throughout their colonial territories long after supposed "independence" & they continued/continue to maintain economic control over these regions and actively killed local movements that wanted economic sovereignty, land reform, nationalization of natural resources much like the united states did/does within their sphere of influence. i say this not to minimize the atrocities the us has committed but to make a point that the uk is also guilty of these crimes up to the present as much as they'd like to pretend this was an era that ended a century ago. british colonial violence isn't something that ended after ww2 it continued throughout the 20th century and still to this day if you look at the actions undertaken by the british military and their mercenaries throughout the former empire
for the past handful of years ive seen people say stuff like "well the british empire accepted their decline with grace and pulled out when they saw the ship sinking so why can't the us do that" and it's important that you understand that the british empire didn't actually do that and neither will their son lol
i know this is shocking to many of you but this is the mainstream belief in the uk + the narrative that is pushed at a state level, in school, by the bbc, etc. and i've heard it expressed by many canadians/americans/australians as well. "they quietly withdrew" is not just a media propaganda thing but a programme the british colonial office undertook to cover up their crimes, see operation legacy
