     this spar is hardly fair , considering how many cybernetic enhancements genji has received. from his forearm peek shuriken , being drawn &&. withdrawn absentmindedly , almost as if a toy with which to be played.

                        “ Swords... my partner is far more versed in those                                  weapons than I am. I prefer the yumi myself. “

           A brief wonder about his brother, for it seemed like they had a small          thing in common. Yet Kagero decided not to PRESS it. It would be           rude for her to pry && she hated it when people often did it with her          eye. 

Mitama let out a soft gasp as her mother’s lips pressed against her forehead, and against her will, a single tear slipped out. Everything hurt–from the way her mother spoke to her to the wound, slowly draining her dry. She wished she could stop time, give them a chance to really talk about what was going on between them, but time was a luxury they simply did not possess. Instead, she shrunk back, resolving to keep herself alive until they got a chance to have that conversation.

Unfortunately, her body had different ideas, and as she stared at her mother, trying to ingrain the sight of the caring form, her eyes slid shut. She’d used up too much of her energy with the simple things she’d said, and now, she had no more to give. She whimpered quietly, the pain of her wound finally setting in, and as she tried her best to hold on, the world went entirely dark. She slept.

           Mitama was rushed to a healer as soon as Kagero returned. && while        she slept her pain away, the ninja FEARED that the only words that they        would’ve exchanged were those small ones. It was a large fear && she        regretted not showing her daughter her hellish artwork, getting some         opinions on paintings && such or just bonding in general. 

             She had missed SO much because of this war. She wasn’t allowed the         luxury to watch Mitama grow into a fine woman. She was too old before         Kagero even realized that time passed by faster in the deeprealms &&          overall hated not being able to visit her child. Such were the duties of a          ninja.

             Relief hit her as soon as she saw Mitama stirring, reaching for her          hand && holding it in hers as a rare smile formed on her lips.
