The Velvet Registry

I’ve been playing The Sims since the very first game was released. What started as building houses and creating characters slowly became something much bigger: stories, family histories, secrets, rivalries, and entire worlds connected across generations.

Velvet Registry is my personal storytelling project built within The Sims 4.

In this universe, powerful families exist across every corner of the world—old aristocratic bloodlines, billionaire dynasties, political elites, celebrities, occult societies, and forgotten legacies. Some connections are public. Others are buried beneath decades of carefully guarded secrets.

The Registry itself acts as both archivist and investigator: documenting influential individuals, preserving family records, uncovering hidden relationships, and collecting fragments of stories that were never meant to be found.

Every character profile, investigation file, family archive, and event report reveals another piece of a much larger puzzle—because in this world, everything is connected.

For centuries, House Velasquez has remained one of Spain’s most influential dynasties — a family defined by legacy, discretion, and the enduring power of old alliances.

Captured within the historic courtyards of the Velasquez Estate in Seville, this year’s annual family portrait brings together multiple generations of the family, documenting both the current line of succession and the wider household that continues to shape the future of the house.

As with every generation before them, the portrait serves as a permanent record of lineage, loyalty, and legacy.

HOUSE VOLKOV: OFFICIAL FAMILY TREE UPDATE

The Registry has updated the official House Volkov family tree to reflect the current known structure of the dynasty.

Spanning four living generations, the chart documents the direct descendants of Patriarch Mikhail Volkov and highlights the present line of succession within one of the Registry’s oldest and most influential families.

From the Patriarch and his heirs to the youngest members of the fourteenth generation, the Volkov legacy continues through a family defined by continuity, duty, and tradition.

Particular attention remains on Anastasia Volkov, current heiress of House Volkov, whose position places her at the center of the family’s future.

As with all Registry records, this document reflects publicly known family connections and may not represent the entirety of the Volkov lineage.

Los Angeles actress Madison Hayes has unveiled the first official poster for her upcoming Netflix series, Golden Hour.

Described as a coming-of-age drama centered on friendship, ambition, first love and the uncertainty of early adulthood, the series follows a group of young Californians navigating the years that shape the rest of their lives.

The announcement arrives amid a period of rapidly growing visibility for Hayes, who has become an increasingly familiar face at premieres, industry events and international society gatherings.

Annual Winter Ball Portrait, 2025

The Registry has obtained last year’s official Winter Ball portrait of the Volkov heirline.

Photographed at the Volkov Estate near Moscow, the image documents the current succession branch of House Volkov and three generations of one of the Registry’s most prominent Old Power dynasties.

At its center stands Patriarch Mikhail Volkov alongside his second wife, Katerina Volkova, and their young son, Alexander Volkov.

Above them hangs the portrait of Natalia Volkov, Mikhail’s late first wife and former Matriarch of House Volkov, whose legacy continues to shape the family following her death in 2017.

Also featured are Dmitri Volkov, son of Mikhail and Natalia, his wife Elena Volkov and their daughter Anastasia Volkov.

While Dmitri is not Mikhail’s eldest son, the line of succession changed after his older brother, Sergei Volkov, relinquished his position as heir due to a long-term medical condition. As a result, Dmitri became heir to House Volkov, with Anastasia now widely regarded as the future of the dynasty.

For generations, House Volkov has maintained the tradition of commissioning formal family portraits during its annual Winter Ball. More than a family photograph, the portrait serves as a visual record of continuity, succession and legacy.

As always, House Volkov has declined to comment.
