       heart racing so fast, roman wasn’t sure whether it was the amount of caffeine he had consumed to get himself awake to open the shop or the fact that the most beautiful pair of eyes he’s ever seen were looking back at him that was the culprit for his heart wanting to jump out of his chest. years had gone by since he’s seen them, yet they still made him feel weak in the knees. when coming to the shop he had expected a slow day up until he had scheduled appointments to tend to. had planned on watching something on his phone or poking another tattoo into himself. hadn’t planned on seeing the love of his life walk through the door and rattle his bones again. it felt like there hasn’t been a day that’s gone by that he hadn’t thought about them. hadn’t thought about what he would say if he could see them again. yet here he was, standing behind the counter in silence, staring at them with his lips parted open slightly. all he could get out was a shaky, “hey.” 

      It wasn’t uncommon for Hanjae to get a tattoo. In the last couple years, he’s started to make a scattered collection of tattoos on his body, mostly from impromptu appointments. Today was no different and since he had no real loyalty to a particular tattoo parlor he went to the nearest one he could find and, boy, did he regret it. As soon as he stepped foot inside he was face to face with someone he thought he’d never see again. Fuck, he curses internally. The rapper was unsure if he should talk or walk out without a word. If he did the latter it would certainly expose the bitterness he still had about the breakup. “What are you doing here?” That’d definitely came out wrong. His habit of being rude not serving him justice at the moment especially since it was a stupid question to ask in the first place. He probably works there. Scratching the back of his head he looks away for a moment. “I mean, hey...it’s been a while. How's it been?”
