𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐲 .

i’m   using   this   icon   as   an   example.   and   maybe   this   isn’t   what   you   meant   by   colour,   but   it’s   how   i’m   taking   it   because   i   am   very   picky   about   the   colors   i   use   on   my   blogs.   there’s   a   theme   with   each,   with   the   colors   i   use.   my   blog   presently   features   a   lot   of   blue.   a   lot   of   blue,   white,   grey,   paler   tones.   initially,   i   argued   with   myself   between   blue   and   green.   the   blue   i   find   is   very   representative   of   the   states   we   seem   him   in   most   often,   or   at   least   most   recently,   and   this   is   something   that   will   evolve.   the   cold,   the   self   warring   witcher,   him   standing   alone.   the   effort   with   which   he   holds   onto   that,   the   fear   which   drives   him   and   his   inability   to   healthily   process   /   express   his   emotions.   so   that’s   why   the   blue   won   out.   because   he’s   still   there,   he’s   making   headway,   but   primarily,   that   is   where   he   is   at.

the   green   and   the   browns,   the   vibrant   tones   of   life,   i   decided,   while   they   would   still   maintain   their   blue,   would   just   be....   less   pale,   i   suppose   is   the   better   way   to   explain   it.   this   is   something   that   evolves   post   -   cirilla,   post   growth,   where   he   is   less   of   this   lone   wolf.   he   has   people   he   cares   about   and   is   gradually   allowing   to   care   for   him,   gradually   learning   to   express   himself   and   be   better.   at   some   point   you   may   see   those   tones   on   this   blog ?   it   just   depends   where   he   goes,   where   he   develops.   this   below   is   a   better   example   of   the   shift   in   colors   :

instinctually,   because   i   am   in   fact,   a   gremlin,   i’d   like   to   say   that   fucking   cat.   but   actually,   because   this   is   something   i’ve   considered   before,   there   are   others   i’d   associate   with   him.   those   being   the   scorpion,   the   goshawk,   come   first   to   mind,   which   sound   initially   odd,   but   ok   hang   on.

because   if   you’re   familiar   with   the   scorpion   and   the   frog   fable,   it   is   actually   rather   fitting.   especially   from   the   aspects   of   geralt   we   are   most   familiar   with,   the   positions   he’s   found   in   most   particularly   in   season   one.    in   the   fable,   the   scorpion   cannot   swim,   and   so   he   asks   the   frog   for   assistance.   the   scorpion   tells   the   frog   it   would   not   sting   them   because   then   they   would   both   die.   and   so   the   frog   agrees,   yet   as   they   are   making   their   way   across,   the   scorpion   dips   its   barb,   dooming   them   both.   it   is   the   scorpion’s   nature.   not   all   of   this   is   fitting,   clearly,   but   that   sort   of   self   destructive   aspect,   i   find   to   be.   even   if   it   wasn’t   his   intention,   lashing   out........   the   phrase   garroter,   jury   and   judge,   comes   to   mind.   as   well   as   the   wolf   imagery   again,   in   specifics   that   of   a   wounded   wolf,   snapping   its   jaws   because   it   has   been   hurt   and   is   wary,   untrusting.   its   nature.
