♫ – “s-surpass...” words failed her as she watched the tiny principal get comfortable in his seat. though she was hard working, and more or less believed in her ability to become a hero, the thought of surpassing present mic (her idol, really) was one she’d never considered. he wasn’t the number one or anything, but the only sound-based hero she knew of.

“Ampharos?” It takes him a minute to remember which pokemon it is, pulling out his phone to pull up a picture, expecting something stupid looking. Instead he laughs lightly at the cute pokemon on his phone. “Hey, it’s cool! I thought you were gonna mess with me there for a minute.” He’s used to Jirou’s playful teasing, but she seems to be taking this seriously, so he grins. 

♫ – “no, i said ampharos is cute, not you.” a huff as she leans one of her hands up to accept the invitation and pet his hair. he’s not wrong; it’s incredibly fluffy, way more than she would have anticipated looking at it.
