I have previously mentioned the steep driveway to @smalldogweavingmill but I don’t think I have provided any sort of visual aid, so “I’ve been to the mountaintop” and taken a couple of pics. The first pic shows the car parked at the top of the driveway. That tiny far-away structure on the left side of the 2nd pic is the Mill. All told it is about a 30-40’ drop along a 200’ drive. The La Quinta Inn & Suites hotel in Bloomington, Indiana was merely one week old when I checked in. Everything was new and fresh, and the people were excited about their new jobs and opportunities! The stay was wonderful even though I spent very few waking hours there. I worked 13 hours on Saturdayand when we finished loading the truck and trailer, which were filled to maximum capacity, it was 10:00pm and I started my drive home. The drive back was slow but steady. The heavy weight and odd and tall shapes that were being hauled made me very cautious. I had to stop a couple of time because I just couldn’t keep my eyes open. One of those times I parked just off the freeway on an undeveloped cul de sac. While I was napping, I was awakened by a tap on my window. I started awake and there stood a man looking down at me. He said he just wanted to make sure I was alright. That was kind. But then he told me I was very beautiful when I slept . . . Ummmmmm! A bit too weird for me! I left. The bears came again last night, and although I had brought in all bird feeders (except the hummingbird feeder since historically area bears have not bothered those feeders), they went for one of the support arms where a feeder had hung. A modified waffle weave was used to mimic the tracks of a deer in these textiles.  This is an especially ‘thirsty’ towel due to the nature of its weave structure, comprised of mini-‘pockets’ that trap moisture.  A 10 harness computer-aided loom was used to skillfully hand weave these towels with fine craftsmanship.  They are woven in high quality 100 percent imported linen in a complex twill weave structure.  Since each item is hand woven to order, please allow up to 6-8 weeks for delivery.
