she didn't want to let me or tommy go, she didn't want to leave us. she found a way out of the vault before anyone could stop her. the scientists always told us that she graduated and went to uptopland. when i found out what that really meant, i thought she was dead. BUT I FOUND HER. she didn't know tommy was dead, she thought she was never seeing either of us again. she used to ask me where tommy was, i always told her he was in the vault. it technically wasn't a lie... she had no way of checking, she was part of the brotherhood and didn't have a pip - boy anymore. eventually she got to see both of us, but tommy was six feet in the ground, buried under the stairs behind the playground. that was the first time i'd seen her cry, or yell, or beg. i wish i could've saved him, so that mom could see both of her boys again. but at least she has one of us. SHE STILL HAS ME.

saw sky ( wandercr ) mention something about tv tropes and was like "oh, i bet johnnie has a shit ton" and i was correct, so here they are.
