OKAY GUYS IT’S HAPPENING!

I’m so sorry on the 3k giveaway being so late, but my life has been so crazy and now that my school has calmed down a bit I think I’m finally ready to devote some time to doing this! So, since you guys chose in the polls I released a while back for me to do an art giveaway, I’m super excited to announce this!

JUST A FAIR WARNING: This is my first giveaway of any sort so… uh… pls be patient with me? Okay, let’s get started-

Reblogs on this post will count as your entry; each person will only get one entry, since the winner will be picked from some sort of drawing/number generator.

I will send out messages to the winners within 48 hours of the giveaway ending. If your boxes/etc. aren’t open at the time of me selecting winners, I will move on to a runner up. If I do not receive a response from the winners I messaged originally within 48 hours, I will also choose a runner up in that situation. I will not publicly announce the winners until all of them have responded to me. 

There will be 3 official winners that I will select at the end of the giveaway period (so, Tuesday, July 16th is the date to keep an eye out for) and I will be keeping a handful of runner ups on deck in case I don’t get responses. 

I will do my best to fulfill the prizes as soon as I can after the winners have responded to me and we come to an agreement on the specifics of their prize. I hope getting all 3 done will not take longer than 2 weeks, since I will still be balancing my day job and summer school. But it should not take long to get out the final products :D

Art Rules/What to expect:

I have some examples of my work up above, so that’s what you can expect style wise. If you want to see more of my stuff, too, you can always check out my art blog @thunderdoodles

If you want art of your DND characters, I’d be more than willing to do so! If you want just like a commission of a character from a show/series/game you like or one of your other OCs, I’m more than cool with that too. 

I very much PREFER having photo reference (at least one or two already existing pictures) of the character that you want drawn from me, should you win. When taking commissions regularly, I’m willing to help design the character for my client, but this is… not that sort of situation. Sorry about that~

I CAN draw like… more n/sfw stuff, but idk if anyone even wants that in the first place. I don’t have experience with any sort of gore or mecha stuff, but if someone really wanted me to I’d be willing to try. But those all aren’t necessarily my comfort zone, either. 

I would love to do like DND party commissions some day, but since this is a giveaway, I’ll be limiting it to one character per person. Perhaps this will change if I do a giveaway like this in the future. 

If anyone ever is interested in commissions outside of this, shoot me a message and we can talk!

OKAY now then let’s talk Prizes:

1st place: you can choose if you want a bust, waist up, or full body of your character of choice. You can also choose if you want me to do soft or hard cell shading, background stuff, etc. Basically you get a good amount of freedom here. If you want it in a chibi style or a regular style, those are options as well. 

2nd place: choice between waist-up or bust, flat colors or hard cell shading, no background beyond a plain, colored background if so desired. You may also choose a more chibi style with this tier as well.

3rd place:  Either a flat color bust or a sketch that you can choose to be full bodied, waist up, or bust.

The head of the adoption center is Arabella Quickwit, a farm grown halfling paladin of Milil under the Oath of Song. When she left home she only planned on keeping people safe and happy until she got dragged into a huge war just outside of her doorstep. Having died twice in helping with these war efforts and then finding out that the ‘good’ side of the war wasn’t as pristine as she thought has been really rough as a whole. But she has a lot of people she’s taken into her family to take care of, recently including five kids ranging from 13-17 who managed to get to their city from another tainted continent. So thankfully she’s been too busy to fall far… yet. 

Spider bitch is Kali, a Arachni gloomstalker. She came to the surface an exile after trying to lead her mate and the other males to some form of equality. Watching her mate die at the hands of the tribe leader before she was exiled from the Web she swore to gather strength and return for revenge. She’s cold and callous to everyone save a few party members who have worked their way to her heart. Currently their party is a group of bounty hunters working for fortune under a king. And they might be being hunted by another group in the process.

The Lorax is Jane Magnolia, an Aborea druid of the Circle of Dreams. The race I based off another homebrew and made my own. I’ll put it all together eventually. She’s a healer first and a fighter second, having spent decades roaming her homeland healing those who needed help in local villages. She was recently transplanted to another plane through circumstances she does not yet understand. But she is now trying to be the diplomatic lead as she attempts to get two fighting sides to work together against a creature that would tear this new plane asunder. Or she was trying... this game fell through.

Runaway noble is Nora Willow, a human monster hunter. She was the daughter of a human ambassador who felt too much like a porcelain doll in her own home. To make up to her people for abandoning her post she has wandered the lands to help where she can, never really asking for money in return since it never made her happy before. She always wears a mask over most of her face and keeps her hair neatly hidden under the hood of her cloak to ensure that she isn’t found out for who she really is. Currently her party is hunting down a large web of vampire spawn and just undead in general in the Capitol. One of them we found out visited good old dad’s home. She is less then pleased. 

“I will turn this party around!” is Esmeralda Tealeaf, my 2nd edition halfling cleric of Lurue. She is pretty much the only ‘good’ character of the party and often tries to steer a group of misfits away from doing illegal things to good people. While she focuses more on the healing and nature-y aspects of her holy magic she also has good aim. At this point enough people have been sniped by a slingshot or hit with a thrown dagger for the party to take her somewhat seriously. Or, they’ve finally learned to do many of the illegal things behind her back. She can’t try to stop what she doesn’t see after all. And with her height? Sometimes there’s a lot she just doesn’t see.

These last two belong to a more modern setting. In this everyone has been pushed out of the material plane and scattered throughout the planes. Humans and some early constructs ended up in one realm and modernized over time, with the Colony and the Children of the Machine working together to keep each other safe. Between them all they figure out how to make Jovians which are huge robots ala Pacific Rim or any big robot anime. With these tools at their disposal they’re slowly pushing back the forces of darkness to reclaim the material plane. 

Now, -_- tin man is Kayden, or AIR-OR-10. He’s an artificial intelligence robot with Network sorcery. His model, the Oracle unit, failed to live up to the planned expectations at manufacturing. As such this boy really struggles with self esteem. It doesn’t help that his Jovian mentors have less emotion then a rock due to being early construct models. And because he looks up to their skills so much he does his best to emulate them by hiding his emotions entirely. He is definitely protective of his machine and AI brethren, especially when some humans still believe they are no more then scrap. He became a pilot to prove he could be better and more useful then his failed model. 

Last but not least sunshine pact fairy child is Julia Cleary, a human Pact of the Tome warlock. She was adopted by the leaders of JovCo after sneaking through their base at the age of seven. Through working with one of her six adopted fathers to reduce the mental stress load she became the first human to be able to pilot a Jovian without dying once she hooked in. She’s a warm and bubbly bookworm who doesn’t like the idea of fighting but does so to lessen the load her parents have to carry. Knowledge is like candy to her and when it comes to something she hasn’t seen before she is likely to stay in harms way to observe. Most of the time her powers given to her the Seeker which helps to make sure she lives in these encounters. Sadly it did not help in a Jovian fight when she died to protect her squad. Thankfully the resources were there to bring her back, but now she’s working through some PTSD to even get close to her own Jovian after dying inside.
