Before Pride Month comes to an end, I wanted to memorialize my husband unintentionally calling me a bisexual failure at the start of the month. (We laughed about it later, and I wasn't really offended!)

Thoughts on the movie Holes (2003)?

Iconic. One of the only book to movie adaptations I've ever seen do it damn near perfectly. Would watch today. Eartha Kitt was in it, 10/10. Kissing Kate Barlow was completely in the right, and I'm glad she fought for her man the way she did. Out here writing an antiracist white woman respecting Black men better than a lot of these authors can manage writing not-racist white women in 2026 lmao but let me stop.
