twas my friend i named him spideyfoot

rescued after his mother was killed for chewing holes in a house

after an unsettling argument apparently he didnt get over it

as he stealthily snuck from his lair in my backpack

in a jewel bespeckled lair

vast riches spread like trash in the corners

of the house that appeared to be a man

the two windows are eyes and the wind both looks in and looks

outside to where the birds fly

spirits playing a different game

feet step through time the plants

effortlessly caress the nature

soul bathes in the river of fire pumping

like blood from the heart

of the earth.
