The mushroom season comes with autumn 🍄🍄🍄
color palette meme ☆ devilman crybaby + vibrants (colorful, bright) requested by @yamken ↳ love doesn’t exist. there is no such thing as love. therefore, there’s no sorrow.
A couple of hour ago Ishida posted a picture on twitter which I believe is a panel of his new manga .If you don't mind can you please translate what's written on it .
Oh, thanks for the heads up anon! Ishida’s wishing us a Happy New Year. There’s nothing much relevant on the panel, just “hope nothing stands in your way, ladies”. Or at least I think so within the context of this tweet. Might be a different translation once I see the whole scene in context.
His new style is bomb. Love it.
I got back from the store and gotta admit from the vantage point of sitting down and looking at the panel (instead of glancing at it from the line at the grocery store) and I was wrong! I’d like to correct my translation to: “move aside, ladies”.

NEW ISHIDA MANGA ARE WE ALL ON HIGH ALERT HERE
although to be fair this time around I’ll probably be writing Twitter threads instead of Tumblr long posts. But maybe fancy’ll strike me to do both.
My bet is on Kodansha’s monthly Bessatsu Margaret. The wording seemed to me like a self-produced thing at first, but then I remembered the suspiciously deleted early concepts.
(also, Ishida in a nutshell: referencing Nietzsche and Ultraman in one title...)
Imagine ishida's art in a monthly manga series...😮
Translated from Ishida’s personal twitter (X):
Yesterday, after finalizing the name of my new manga, I fell asleep. Kaneki and Touka were in my dreams, for the first time in a long while. In my dreams, they defeated Mado, fought against a mysterious ghoul, and their conversing back and forth was a mess, but it was fun. It almost seemed like they were telling me to go have fun.
The title of my new work will be “Choujin X.” (Superhuman X) I will enjoy working on it at my own pace.

20200414 TK and his song collab with Ishida Sui
TK did an interview about his new album “Sainou”, and a couple questions were related to the song collab he did with Ishida (see here for more info), so I decided to translate those parts. Original article can be found here.
***
Regarding the lyrics of “Sainou ~Sui Side~”, how did you interact with the lyricist Ishida Sui? Some parts seem like they can extend to Tokyo Ghoul’s world view, but did you have any discussions with him about that?
I originally wrote the lyrics for Tokyo Ghoul and handed it over to Sui-san, telling him, “Please rewrite it as you see fit.” And so he wrote the lyrics with the image of Sigure*. It wasn’t like I made a request to him, but more like we were sending love letters to each other (laughs).
T/N: He mentioned 時雨 (shigure) which means “late autumn rainfall”, but after listening to the song I think TK actually meant that Ishida wrote the lyrics based on Ling Tosite Sigure’s (凛として時雨) style.
The word “Sainou” is also the title of the album, and the collection of songs in the album is linked to the idea of “multicoloured/diverse talents”, but was it deliberately given that title based on the overall picture? Or did it just happen to be a title suitable for the album? I’d also like to know more about the subtitle “Sui Side.”
The title can also mean “I have no talent within myself.” Of course, that’s not something for anyone to decide, but there’s something that emerges from the fact that there’s someone there who can guide you to an answer that’s attractive to you, and this album is like a collection of that. As for “Sui Side”, the aim is for people to enjoy the contrast between it and the “TK Side”, which will be released later in the future. It’s rare to have two sets of lyrics for the same song, and even if a second set exists, it’s unlikely for it to be ever released. But strangely enough it feels like a continuation of the story.
Noragami theory
Idk if there was a theory about father being yamato takeru but here i go...
"Yamato Takeru, Japanese folk hero, noted for his courage and ingenuity, who may have lived in the 2nd century AD. His tomb at Ise is known as the Mausoleum of the White Plover. The legendary son of the legendary 12th emperor Keikō, Yamato Takeru was supposedly responsible for expanding the territory of the Yamato court. He subdued two uncouth Kumaso (barbarian) warriors by cleverly disguising himself as a woman and, at a banquet in his honour, killing them while they were drunk. He cut away the burning grass of a fire set by the Ainu tribesmen with the miraculous sword "Kusanagi" and escaped. His adventures ended on the plains of Tagi, where he was stricken with illness and, according to legend, changed into a white plover and disappeared from the world".
Yamato Takeru, deployed on one of his barbarian-bashing military campaigns, was returning on a ship (along with his retinue) crossing Tokyo Bay from the Chiba-side to the Kanagawa-side (Yokosuka) ..... and then a huge storm occurred, which threatened to sink the ship and drown everyone aboard ..... until, that is, when his wife Oto Tachibana Hime jumped into the sea, offering herself to the ocean god .....
