dunno about you guys but I actually encounter trans people in my daily life and I’m not gonna be rude to them because they’re trans :/ like. These are still people worthy of love and respect and if they haven’t given me reason to feel disrespected then why would I go out of my way to make their lives worse and put more bad energy into this world. Most of the trans people I know are far removed from toxic activism and are just trying to live their lives with dignity like the rest of us

when Simone de Beauvoir said that men don't respect women but rather respect other men through “their women”.... as in a man will act respectful towards a woman only if he has respect for her husband or her lover or her father.... (the same way you would respect that person's property or ideas or opinions or other things that aren't a human being)..... yeah.....
