Adam is created by the beehive/enclave as the ‘perfect’ human. after learning that his creators intents were malicious, he destroys them and wanders off to be taken in by the cosmic entities, where he learns all that HE knows. Adam takes on, single handedly the role of keeping peace and balance to the universe. in his unstable state, his personality SPLITS, his evil self manifesting into what will be known as the magus. his evil self is out there in the universe, travelling through various timelines and universes to seek the infinity stone to eventually kill Adam and rule the universe, killing the cosmic entities that once took him in. blah blah blah Adam ends up killing the magus and retrieves ALL infinity stones.

Adam does back in time to the creation of the universe, him, being the Big Bang that started it all, hides each stones trillion upon trillions of lightyears away from one another. 

after forming a close bond with the soul stone, a sort of affinity/immunity, he creates a singular planet to host his beloved stone. he creates vormir where he keeps the stone hidden away in the very centre. using his magic, he puts a magical barrier around the stone so that it will come into possession to whoever  truly wants it. ( this is where the sacrifice of one’s soul came about )

knowing of red skulls eventual fate, Adam takes rest in the sarcophagus in the great pyramid of Giza, after posing as pharaoh. he would wake upon the events of infinity war.

but he was too late. Adam woke up too late! four years too late where the events of endgame had already taken place. Adam, having used his magical abilities on ALL infinity stones, knows where to find them. all of the infinity stones are intact as the universe is still intact. his magic worked.

Adam goes to earth and finds out what tf happened and basically scolds all of the avengers for being idiots, hashes it out with dr strange for a bit, shakes his head at the guardians. esp Gamora and undoes the events of endgame and infinity war since they completely ruined their timeline/universe, leading it to an early destruction which Adam was not about to let happen.
