trying to calculate the quantity of buges

Red (He/Him): Frequent fronter, emo preteen, tiefling / cat.

Orange (She/He): Frequent fronter, stole her fit from a character, sunglasses enjoyer, gets mixed up with Red a lot

Mustard (He/Him): The only morning person 😔. Also the only one who likes cooking 😔.

Lime (He/Him): Fictive of a supervillain from a podcast, has a horrible french accent, surprisingly responsible and well-put-together

JC (They/Them): A little guy, but we’re not sure if they’re a little. Has the worst sensory issues out of everyone, and stresses out a lot.

Lavender (She/Her): Does a lot of important Tasks, but also stresses out a lot over said Tasks. Also the only one who remembers all the Tasks we end up having to do.

speaking of distinctions! we’re kind of lucky in that we’ve got a pretty split distribution of gender, so that tends to help lol. we can’t always vibe it out (some of us care less about gender than others, including me hi it’s Orange now we just did the gender vibe check lol) but it does give a quick guideline as a basis. we also like to check our reactions to stuff; JC is finer-tuned to sensory issues, so getting frustrated by squeaking shoes or sniffling is a clue. i have a tendency to get annoyed at being given instructions and like being a little rebellious at times (we are collectively one huge dork so that isn’t saying much but like. i stole some carabiners from my engineering class today. with only Implied permission. ooooh i’m so badass).

as we mentioned earlier, drawing also helped us! figuring out what we looked like, and what our general Visual Taste was gave us a better idea of who was who just based on what they preferred to visualize themselves as. this was not a flawless plan because we all slowly transitioned into furries over time (I have just become a fox. I was a guy at one point. the only remaining human is Lime. I blame Lavender) but it does help somewhat.

communication-wise uhhh I’ll be honest we’re still not great at that lol. typing and writing helps a lot, especially when we’ve got ways to distinguish ourselves! but when we don’t have or forget to give ourselves the time to chat, we kinda lose identity and mostly show up to give little quips or chat about nonsense in the background. we’re lucky enough that calling on a specific person usually prompts a direct response from them, although sometimes that response is “i’m nowhere near front, i’m tired, go away”, especially if they weren’t talking before.
