Sugar Rush!

Tilly turned away from the birds, leaving them to their antics and noticed someone waving over at her “Vanellope! Hi!” she smiled and waved back “Do you need a seat? You’re welcome to join me if you’d like”

She smiled widely. “Hey there Tilly.  I’d like that.” She chimed gladly joining the other

“ Right?? They’re amazing and could have anything in them. Some people add taco meat and vegetables in them and they’re even better. That and you can never go wrong with cheese and chips. There’s so many Cheese-obilies to have from. Get it?? ” She adds in a fit of laughter at her dumb joke.  “ I guess you can say, I’m rather cheesy. ”

"Yes,and they can have chicken, and all sorts of stuff. I personally like mounds of cheese on mine.” She cracked up at the girls joke. “not as cheesy as the nachos.”

She smiled widely. “Well good, I can’t wait.”

Perry felt her phone buzz and she pulled it out, saving Vanellope’s number. “Me too.”

“Well you should totally come over when you get off work. I got a whole apartment to myself and a couple of bottled of wine i’m going to need help with.” She chuckled. “Also feel free to bring any extra cupcakes.”

Perry took the phone and put in her name with a little snowflake next to it and then her number. “There, now we can be real life friends.”

She took her phone back and sent her a text so she had her number. “Well good, I like that.”

Perry grinned. “Lucky for me, I know my boss pretty well so my hours are flexible.” She teased.

“Well thats very lucky indeed.” She let out a laugh. She pulled out her phone and handed it to Perry to put her number in. “And lucky me I’m on winter break so I have plenty of free time”

Perry smiled. “Really? I’d like that.” She didn’t have many friends.

Van smiled back. “Well good. Here let me give you my number and you can text me when your free.”

“Me too.” She grinned.

“Well we should hangout sometime, I mean when you’re not busy running my new favorite shop.”

‘                                  ya look like you could use a drink or two        .         and i don’t mean    HOT CHOCOLATE           .               ’       call it instinct to cheer up the girl crying at the diner        ,       but melody was also alone after being stood up by her date        .         sliding into the booth she held dusk-kissed cheeks in her palms           .                 ‘          can i interest you in some food at least     ?               ’

She chuckled lightly. “Thats not a bad idea, I mean we can always just spike hot choclate.” She watched as the girl slid into the booth, apreciative of the girl. “I won’t say no to food.”

“Wow you’re probably the nicest person ever for this.” Roxanne said with a large grin. “And now I won’t feel bad for buying it myself.” 

“Honestly its no problem at all. Merry christmas or whatever.” She flashed a small smile.

Though not one to normally frown, dory couldn’t help but let the emotion pass over her face for a brief moment. “ well… ” she then smiled wide as she lead the other girl to a table. “ we can be friends, even though we don’t really know each other ! we are having breakfast together, after all. ” she laughed. “ i’m dorothy. but people just call me dory. ” making friends was a huge part of who she was, despite her disability.

She flashed the girl a smile as they sat. “I’d like that very much.” She chuckled. It was nice to meet someone who was so friendly and seemed happy. “Nice to meet you Dory, I’m Vanellope.”

Parry laughed. “Well now I know that this one is good. For future reference.”

“Well glad I could help.”

Perry watched, crossing her fingers the girl liked the cupcake and when she spoke a grin broke across the blonde’s face. “Oh thank god.”

She smiled taking another bite. “Ten out of ten.” She said with her mouth full of cupcake.

“Nice to meet you too!” Perry hadn’t met too many people around town so it was nice to find someone who was friendly.

She smiled softly, Van didn’t have many friends and it was always nice to meet new people, especially ones who made cupcakes. She took her cupcake out of the box and took a bite. “Oh my god this is delicous.”

“Oh! I’m Perry.” She smiled, wiping her hand on her apron and holding it out to her.

“It’s nice to meet you Perry” She smiled shaking her hand.

“Well I certainly hope that my cupcakes are to your standards.”

“I bet they will.” She laughed. “I’m Vanellope by the way.”

“Works for me, as long as someone like them!”

“I’ve never met a cupcake I didn’t like.”
