People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Most of the time i love comments and fics, but the raising of the PG rating wasn’t okay for me, 1. because im careful about making sure the content on this blog is safe for most ages. 2. It felt like I was being included in something sexual that I had not consented to, which really really was not okay. I think generally the only time artists do get upset about comments are when it’s insultiing them or the artwork, deliberately disrespecting an aspect of the artwork, or being overtly sexual on a post that wasn;t. You know things people do when they forget that the post was created by a person and not “the internet” and that person is reading the comments.
