I realized that even if I can't make my own farming game I can at least make make own characters for one. So, here's some love interests I came up with.
He was created for battle? This gentle librarian? Surely that can't be right. He spends most of his time at the library, or taking walks in nature.

A spirit who acts as protector of the land. He lives in the woods and enjoys isolation, but wont say no to a visitor. He is a hunter but has a great respect for animals and wont abide their suffering.

Hated gifts: Meat (You got this from me why are you giving it back?), fish
The spirit of an old cask that once housed a rare wine, Brandon now works at the local tavern. He's a laid back conversationalist and knows a lot about the people in town.
Favourite gifts: Grapes, herbs, sweets
A human girl and adopted daughter of the head carpenter. She is passionate and will give any project her all, even if it's fixing a door knob. She doesn't like talking about her birth parents, but will talk to you about fishing.

Hated gifts: Minerals, tomatoes, alcohol
Another spirit who watches over the land, but she is more about the harvest. The family at the flower shop hosts her, in return for improved harvests. She also runs her own cafe where she sells teas and treats.

A spirit of a radio granted sentience, she now works for her old owner at his families General store. She had a rocky relationship with his son and daughter-in-law, who unfortunately died. Even more unfortunately, their daughter is also not fond of her. Roline is also quite clumsy and air headed, but a hard worker nonetheless.
