Senior Year

This album is dedicated to the people I love the most and who made my senior year one to remember. Thank you Hinson for being my best friend and falling in love with me, you truly made my year that much better. Thank you Sydney for being my best friend for years now and never letting me lose sight of who I am. Thank you Brunswick High School for the many opportunities you gave me. Thank you other friends, family, and dogs who also took part in my senior year. Forever blessed.

The beginning of Senior year is one of importance. and I knew how I wanted to start it - with my best friend Sydney Jaudon. Before school every morning, we would sit in my car and sing this song even if we got some words wrong, sorry Cardi B. I knew from that moment as long as I had her by my side, singing lyrics wrong, I would have the best senior year.

After a long night of football games and waffle house traditions, I was driving Hinson, my best friend, home. He played this song and even sang a little bit. A warmth was felt in my heart, and I knew, I was in trouble. I was falling in love with my best friend

Sydney doesn’t know any spanish, however, sometimes I introduce her to some Spanish music. Before games, I used to play this song all the time to the point where it became our anthem. Every time I listen to this song, it reminds me of her and those car rides to what ever cheer event we had.

One day after we started dating, I was sitting in Hinson’s truck, and this song came on from his playlist. That day was really fun, we goofed around, laughed a lot, and shared smiles. We aren’t able to do that now because we live at two colleges, but every time I listen to this song I’m brought back to that day and I smile. 

Mr. and Ms. BHS (best all around) with my friend since day one. 

I was having a terrible day on my birthday, and Hinson knew that. So when we met up for lunch, he waited in his car, played this song, and gave me my birthday gifts. I remember feeling so lucky to have him because he knew I was so excited to listen to that song when I turned 18. It brightened my mood tremendously.

Another win with my buddy Taj 

On the way to Sea Island to take prom pictures with my boyfriend Hinson. This song was playing while I was taking a video of my flowers and him in the car. Me and Hinson were both slightly nervous because it was our first dance together. We had an amazing prom night and it was definitely one to remember.

It was both exciting and saddening to look towards the future. Hinson and I were graduating, but he was leaving to Valdosta soon after. He played this song in one of our car rides, and said it reminded him of me. When he left, I played this song and thought of him.
